The villa is located near Paphos with views along the coast. They are 2 minutes drive from the nearest beach and the same distance from Secret Valley Golf club, 5 minutes from Aphrodite Hills Golf, Hotel and Leisure complex, 20 minutes from Tsada Golf club:
SECRET VALLEY, which will host a PGA Seniors event in October 2005, is a challenging 5,900-metre par 71 course with fabulous views. Peak rates; £30 per round during 16th Sep to 15th May. Clubs £8 to rent. Individual lessons are available from resident PGA Professional at £25 per hour of 1 or 2 people. Golf practice areas.
APHRODITE HILLS is 5 minutes drive from villas. An even more challenging 6,200 metre, Par 72 course. Peak rates; £60 including shared buggy. Handicap certificate required. Excellent practice facilities and PGA professionals. Clubs £20 to rent.
TSADA - 20 minutes drive from villa. Fees and facilities similar to Secret Valley. 6,000 metre, par 71 course set high is the hills.
With all of these courses playable in sunshine almost all year round, you are spoilt for choice!

We had an amazing time, the villa was the best we have stayed at in Cyprus much better than the ones in Aphrodite hills where we have stayed the last three years. Once the tv was up and running that was also a benefit for my 10 year boy - to watch his team live on TV on a Saturday was a first!
The pool was also the warmest that we have had - we have stayed at villas where you pay for a heated pool and they do there best to save money and keep the thermostat down!"

just had to write this review as I stayed in Villa Antigone last year but this year I booked a different villa and it just didn't compare!!! Villa Antigone is not only in a fantastic location, the villa itself just has everything you need for the perfect holiday! Unlike other villas it really does have everything you see on the advert. We had pool heating during our stay which was worth every penny unlike the villa we have just returned from where we weren't even sure if the heating was on.
Villa Antigone is very well kept and the owners go that extra mile to ensure you have a great time. Jan sent us lots of information before we arrived and Mike was great when we had to call him to sort out a tiny problem with the TV. I'm writing this reveiw because I really want other people to know how great it is. Don't make the same mistake I made and book elsewhere, if you can book a holiday in Villa Antigone, You should do it, and believe me, my standards are very high!!

Villa Antigone was superb in every way with stunning views and a peaceful location. We appreciated the welcome pack as we arrived late on Saturday.
Jan was very helpful and friendly and did everything possible to make our holiday so enjoyable. The tourist information pack in the villa was very much appreciated. I would definately recommend this Villa and hopefully will return in the near future.

We visited villa antigone for the second time in september and had another fantastic holiday.The villa is every bit as nice as it looks in the photos and is kept in top condition.Jans help in organising our trip was first class again and we will definatly be going back to one of her villas next year and would advise anyone looking at a villa holiday to do the same.

Everything was perfect, we had all we needed! And the pool...oh..amazing...and very clean! We really apreciate you giving us the posibility for the late checkout on sunday...it wold have been very unconfortable for us to leave at 10 in the morning with all our bagage. We had a little trouble finding the villa at 1 o'clock at night so we colled Mike, we were so sorry to disturb him so late at night , but we had been going around in circles for some time :D but he was very nice and helped us to get to the villa. When we arrived, we were so hungry so the welcome pack was perfect!!!
We loved Cyprus, very nice people (everyone spoke english which was great for us ), great food, nice sightseeing...What i would definitly recomand as a restaurant is pelican in paphos, ..great food and really great service. We also went to mandria chinesse food, but i wouldn't recomend this becouse we waited about 2 hours for the food. We went at apfrodite's waterpark ...i would adivice your next guests to go to another waterpark (we later found out there were 2 more waterparks)..this one was very small! but we enjoyed ourselves becouse there weren't many people so we didn't have to wait in line for antything!
One day we visited cape greco...amazing views!!! in my opinion cape greco it's a must ! we also went to trodos, but we wished we had done something else that day...we werent't that excited about the views, and not much to do there! or maybe we didnt't find the exciting part of trodos :D
We had a wonderfull time at nissi beach...great water, nice beach and lots of options for fun! We went parasailing and it was very nice!
We also went to the coral bay beach. Here we went on a 5 hours safari that was very exciting! We made stopes in key points like turtle beach and lara beach , we visited saint george's church. We had an amazing time in this safari even though by the end of it we were all covered in dirt :D !
But no matter how exciting our days were, we couldn't wait to get to the villa and bathe in the pool or just chill in the living.. One night we had a barbaque and it was a lot of fun! of course we had to fight with the ants for our food :)) but the spray in the villa was extremly helpfull! What else can i say...on our way to the airport we couldn't speak of anything else but our plans of returning to antigone villa next summer, that's how much we enjoyed it!

We had a great time recently (July 2010) in a Villa Antigone. The villa is extremely well equipped - both inside & outside. It really is as good as the pictures suggest. We spent loads of time in the pool which is very well maintained. Although 20 mins from Kato Paphos by car, Secret Valley is very conveniently situated and felt less humid than central Paphos & Coral Bay. Although there is not yet a supermarket in Secret Valley, there are several close-by, by car.
We also stayed in another villa which is managed by Jan & Mike and it was also very good. Jan & Mike provide loads of useful information for their guests and we would highly recommend them and Villa Antigone! Favourite restaurant - Fish & Chips in Mandria Favourite location - Lara Beach

Had a really great time at this villa, it was clean, spacious, modern and fully equipped with dvd, sky, washing machine (well used) and I pod docking station.
My two grandsons (aged 10&12) were very impressed with the pool and inflatables supplied, they never got bored.
A car is recommended as not really near any facilities but driving is no problem here.
There was lots of information supplied on restaurants, and sightseeing. you have to go to Fat Mama's (large portions).
The service here was excellent and after having a problem with the iron not working a new one was brought round within 24 hours. Thankyou.
The booking process was very easy and would highly recommend this property for a stay in Cyprus. sally and stephen

My family and I have just spent 10 day at Villa Antigone - it was just not long enough. Its a fantastically maintained villa, very well equipped, with everything to make your stay enjoyable. Enjoyed swimming in the pool so much that we only made it to the beach once. The view from the villa is lovely and it is only a short drive to good shops,restaurants and about 15 mins drive from the airport, but having said that we were not bothered by noise.
A car is essential. The owners are very helpful and are always at the other end of the phone should you need help or advice.Cannot wait to go back and will certainly be recommending the villa to friends

We had a fantastic time in Cyprus - due mainly to the excellent villa, 'Antigone'. It was just as we hoped (i.e. as described, if not better).
We enjoyed it so much we barely ventured from the villa to do any sightseeing, mainly due to the fantastic pool.
We were very impressed with the quality of the villa, its facilities, maintenance and location. We had such a good time - both us and the children have talked about returning to the villa next year ! Grannie and Grumps joined us half way through our stay and they were very impressed too ! A perfect relaxing break...

There are very few holidays you can describe as magical from start to finish, but my Wife and I and our two children will never forget the 'magical week' we had at Villa Antigone. Its setting with stunning views of the sea and mountains is perfect. The location is quiet and peaceful and rare occasions we met any neighbours they were warm and welcoming. Antigone is the largest villa we have every stayed in and the owners Jan and Mike have furnished it beautifully. Waking up every morning in this wonderful villa with its lovely artwork is Heaven on earth.
The kids were always in the heated pool (very warm!) and voted this the best holiday ever. We rustled up fabulous barbeques next to the pooland there is even a drinks fridge and sink next to it. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with very comfy beds and all have en-suite bathrooms and private balconies, great for that early morning cuppa! The kids were grateful for the range of cable TV channels and the excellent DVD and video library.
I loved Jan and Mike's book library touch: "If you haven't finished reading a book, please do take it with you - just leave another in its place". This sums up their thoughtfulness. Jan could not be more helpful in every regard and we found the villa's website and handbook very useful as well. We even got a discount in a restaurant we turned up on spec, because we were staying at Villa Antigone!Antigone exceeded every expectation with only one drawback: We were gutted we only had a week there. We stayed here in March as a Family of 6 for celebrating parents Wedding Anniversary - it was fantastic all ammenities in the villa are as described and the welcome pack was a great bonus.We had the pool heated and was able to swim evert day despite it being overcast.
The villa is a bit isolated you do need a car but after stocking up provisions we sometimes just stayed and ate in.There are lots of restaurants around within a short drive. The owner provided excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend this villa for a very relaxing holiday in excellent surroundings.cazza 43 Potters Bar March 2010

We recently spent a week at beautiful Antigone and I am delighted to highly recommend this vacation rental property. The knowledgeable and experienced owners were a great resource for recommendations on good restaurants, site seeing and tips which meant we could really "max" our time by Antigone's fantastic, heated pool (the warmest I have ever been in). The spacious master bedroom has an en-suite bath and the bedding was so comfortable. The other bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as well. It is evident that the owners take pride in keeping the property in an immaculate condition. I would like to keep their property a secret as I fear that I will never get to book here again once others find out what wonderful, relaxing and incredible value this property affords. Villa Antigone is beautiful and has all a family needs while on holiday. It’s a home away from home. My husband loves to barbeque while on holiday and described the one at Antigone as “a real one”. We have used holiday companies to book villas in Cyprus before and they have advertised air-con, but it’s only in the bedrooms whereas here units are provided in all the rooms. Jan and Mike are so easy to contact and deal with any problem ASAP. If I didn’t have a deposit on a villa in Agadir for the summer, I would definitely return to Antigone. This was our first time to visit Cyprus at Christmas / New Year and we can’t wait to spend a summer in this beautiful Villa Antigone. The welcome pack had more than enough to keep us going while the shops were closed due to it being Christmas Eve when we arrived. My sons loved the chocolate Santa’s that Jan had left for them. we stayed in villa antigone in september 2009 and had a brilliant time. The villa is exactly as in the photos and very clean and well maintained. I would strongly recommend this villa to anybody. The children loved the pool and the fact they could chat to their friends at home on the internet. The villa was very comfortable and clean, we were provided with an excellent welcome pack. The booking process was painless and Jan was very helpful. We decided to pay to have the pool heated and it was well worth it. A car is essential and we missed not being able to walk to a shop or restaurant but when we drove out to Paphos which took 15 mins there was an abundance of restaurants and shops. The golf at Aphrodite Hills was good and the restaurants and ambiance there was great. We really felt relaxed the weather was excellent and the villa had everything you could possibly want. We were fortunate to stop at Villa Antigone for 3 weeks over the summer. The villa is beautifully decorated with lots of internal space - there were 6 of us for 10 days and it did not feel cramped at all. All the facilities are modern and the villa is equipped with everything that you require for a great holiday. The views from the bedrooms over the sea and the mountains are a great way to start the day and sitting out on the balcony with a bottle of wine is an even better way to finish! The area surrounding the villa is very quiet, which was just what we wanted. There is no local shop or restaurant in walking distance so you will need a car; but Paphos is only a 15 minute drive and the airport is only 10 mins away. The children loved the pool and having the air conditioning included as part of the rental price was an added bonus. Everything that was described about the villa was spot on and we felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. The information pack in the villa gave details about how to use all the appliances so we never had to figure out anything for ourselves. Its Location is great - about 10 mins drive from Pissouri Village and 15 mins from Paphos set in the hills in Secret Valley. Within half an hour of arriving we were making use of the heated pool which was the warmest I have been in when renting villas. Although the weather wasnt too kind to us and it was very cold outside of a night the villa had ample heating and was very cosy in the evening. When the weather was good, we loved to sit on the balcony overlooking the pool and watch the sunset with our " happy hour" cocktails ! Villa Antigone is a very pretty villa and had everything we needed for our holiday. We particularly wanted to chill and it was well worth having the pool heated for our stay in October. There are an abundance of restaurants only a short drive away and there are lots of details of these at the villa. Jan gave us an excellent level of customer service and we would definitely recommend the villa to friends. We’ve just got back from another villa holiday in Spain and to be honest it wasn’t a patch on Villa Antigone. The standard of the villa is obviously superior to most but the other things I didn’t appreciate before was the standard of the cleaning and maintenance company which was excellent and the information and support Jan provided which was fantastic.
