You will find yourself feeling like Aphrodite herself in this villa as it has been furnished to a very high modern and contemporary standard. The villa layout has been created by a professional interior designer to provide comfort as well as chic flair and is well equipped both inside and out.
The downstairs is large lounge opening onto the dining area which can seat up to 8, then through to the kitchen. The lounge has very comfortable seating, TV set with satellite television, DVD player and a DVD library with films to suit all tastes. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dish washer. The living area opens onto the garden, pool and BBQ area through two sets of sliding patio doors. There are lovely views of the garden, mountains, Secret Valley and of course the stunning Mediterranean Sea.
The large private pool has shallow and deep ends and has the option of being heated so you can enjoy the Cyprus sunshine all year round. With its open-plan living area and fabulous views across the coastline it is the perfect place to unwind, forget your troubles and enjoy a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday.
The villa is set in tropical landscaped gardens surrounded by hibiscus bushes, and offers two large outside dining areas and a cooling lawn area. The pool is an excellent size and can be heated if required in the winter months. There is a built-in BBQ and an exterior dining table on the patio area so you can keep an eye on the kids in the pool whilst rustling up your own Cypriot meal. The garden furniture is high quality and the sun beds have cushions for all year round use.
At the end of day, as Villa Petra Tou Romiou benefits from a south west facing garden you can relax and enjoy some of the most fantastic sunsets.

The villa is very spacious and well equipped both inside and out:- The down stairs has a large living area and roomy dining area which can accommodate eight guests. Both the living and the dining areas have air-conditioning.
There is two large comfortable sofas and 1No chair in the living area. TV with basic satellite channels. DVD Player, CD Player. Two sets of patio doors lead from the living area to the garden area and pool. The kitchen is very well equipped with ample storage space, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dish washer. There is a breakfast table and patio doors leading to the garden and patio. There is a down stairs cloakroom
Upstairs:-
Main Bedroom:- Has a double bed and is tastefully decorated in green and creams, and has a double built in wardrobes, dressing table, and has a hair dryer. it has patio doors which lead to a balcony area. It has a en-suite which has a built in shower.
Bedroom 2:- Is very spacious and again has double built in wardrobes, 2 single beds, and a make up area.
Bedroom 3:- Has a double built in wardrobe and 2 single beds and make up area.
All rooms are spacious and bright and have been tastefully decorated and have 2 windows in each room. Due to the strength of the Cyprus sun all rooms have black out blinds as well as voile curtains and all have air- conditioning.
Main bathroom:-
Has a bath and shower facility with a glass shower screen.
Further details outdoors:
The villa is situated in a very quite area, and has a south west facing garden, and has excellent views of the sun set. The garden has outside lighting and can be enjoyed in the evening as well as the day. It also has excellent views of the coastline and surrounding hills, and is ideal for walking and jogging. It is in easy reach of surrounding villages ie Kouklia, Pissouri and Paphos Town.

The Paphos region
Southern Cyprus is a very popular holiday destination for Europeans, its climate is excellent most of the year round. Its English speaking and friendly and has a reputation for being a very safe and has near zero crime rate. Driving is right hand drive.
Cyprus is surrounded by history and Secret Valley is only a few minutes away from Aphrodite Rock, which is a wonderful place to visit and have a swim in the crystal clear waters. There is also the tomb of the Kings located in Paphos only 15 minutes away. Troodos Mountains in approx an hours drive and is well worth a visit. Limassol is only 25 minutes drive and has an excellent water park.
The Secret Valley Resort / Ha Potami Phase B area
The villa is only a few minutes drive from the sea, and there is a nature reserve and nature trail which follow the coastline to Aphrodite, it is ideal for walkers and joggers, and has panoramic views over the sea and coastline. There are many things to do within a short car drive of Secret Valley.
Pissouri:-Is a beautiful old town, and offers, restaurants Bar, shops, water sports, including wind surfing and jet skis. Koukila Village: Is only 3 minutes drive and has traditional taverns which are very reasonably priced. Aphrodite Hills: In only a few minutes away, and offers Golf, Tennis, Spa, Restaurants and a small supermarket.
Paphos: Is Approx 15 minutes drive and offers, a large variety of restaurants, bars and shops, its harbour is always buzzing, and boats trips, and the hire of boats can be done here, as well as fishing trips and diving. There is is also a water park and an excellent Go- Kart track in Paphos.

Fly to Paphos airport, the villa is only about 12 minutes drive away:
To reach the villa by car from Pahos Airport, turn left when leaving the airport car park and continue along the road until your reach a T junction. Turn right and continue unitl you pass under a bridge. After approx 50m, turn left and pass under another bridge to a roundabout at which you go straight across. Drive up the hill and take the first turning on your right, then follow the road approx half a mile and our villa is situated on the right on a bend, turn right into the villa and follow the road round where there is gates to the car space.

Myself and the family are extremely grateful to you for making our holiday a memorable one. Before talking about the villa, which is great, I think we are all very impressed by the way you handled our business from the moment you answered my first telephone call. I contacted you with less than 48 hours before we start our holiday and you patiently and efficiently managed to provide us with all the information, options and above all, the reassurance that we needed. I am usually a very cautious person, but I had no hesitation in completing the business as I felt I was dealing with a knowledgable and trustworthy person. I am glad that my gut feelings did not let me down as the service I received exceeded my expectations.
Villa Petra Tou Romiou was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was obvious attention to details. No wonder the pool and the garden were in top notch as during our week stay, both the gardner and the pool man visited twice. We watched a movie every night from the dvd library and other family members (not myself), read few books while by the pool. The location of the villa in Secret Valley suited us very well as it is only one straight road to Paphos airport and Paphos on one side and Limassol is only half an hour down the same road on the opposite direction. The lovely mountains of Troodos are just 45 -60 minutes up north.
As you may know, we did not need to contact your agent there for anything as the information you gave us before we left were more than enough. Please pass my regards to Mike for his help in facilitaing the transfer of funds. If I am heading Cyprus again or any of friends is planning to visit Cyprus, I think I know whom to contact. We had a fabulous stay at Villa Petra tou Romiou. The villa was fabulous with fantastic views down towards the sea and Pafos. The pool was superb and I'd thoroughly recommend paying extra for the pool heating, especially if you're visiting during the cooler months of the year, it allowed us to use the pool all day every day regardless of the weather.
Special thanks to Jan at Cyprus Villa Rentals for providing such a good service which made the whole booking process very easy, and her restaurant/activities recommendations were especially helpful as well.
If you want a clean, comfortable villa with all the mod-cons for your holiday, then Villa Petra tou Romiou is it.

We enjoyed a fabulous 9 nights at Petra Tou Romiou - my husband and I, our 2 young children, my mother-in-law and her friend. The villa was plenty big enough for the 6 of us and we loved the fact it was a very quiet area - added to the general feeling of relaxation! The pool was fab - the kids spent all their time in there, although we are glad that we paid the extra to have it heated. Villa very comfortable and clean with all the facilities we needed. Wifi was very useful too. Excellent restaurant recommendations too - we went to Cavallino's in Pafos twice as it was so good. Kids loved the waterpark in Pafos, although rather expensive. Car hire was essential, but it was easy driving and gave us the freedom to explore.
All in all a great holiday, great weather, great villa - would definitely recommmend!

Die Villa befindet sich auf dem Venus-Hügel unweit des Secret Valley an einer ruhigen Ringstrasse diesen Villenviertel gelegen. Die anfahrt von der autobahn ist gut. Die Villa ist in einem gepflegten Garten gelegen, in welchem sich der prima Swimming-Pool unmittelbar vor der Terrasse befindet. Gute Badeplätze am Meer befinden sich in einer Entfernung von 10 - 15 autominuten. Gleiches gilt für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die ausstattung des Hauses ist gut und zweckmässig. The villa is located on the Venus hill near Secret Valley on a quiet residential area of this ring road. The reach of the highway is good. The villa is located in a cultivated garden in which there is the great swimming pool directly in front of the terrace. Good bathing beaches are in a distance of 10 - 15 minutes. We had a lovely week in Villa Petra Tou Romiou. Everything you might want was provided and the pool heating made all the difference for us.

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It is superbly equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There is ample crockery, glasses, barbeque equipment etc.... The layout is super with lots of space, and I particularly liked the patio doors leading out into the garden - 3 sets! The master bedroom also has patio doors leading to a small balcony with a table and chairs. The garden was beautifully maintained and we spent many relaxing hours reading and swimming in the pool.
The villa is in easy reach of Paphos where we went on quite a few evenings for meals. The mosaics are also well worth a visit.
There are ample eating places in Paphos, we particularly enjoyed "The Pelican" for it's excellent food and very friendly service.
The Aphrodite golf club resort is worth a visit for eating places and there is a weekly quiz in the Anoi bar on Thursday nights which we enjoyed.
Another really good eating place we found was "Hideaway" which is in a local village called Pissouri. Again, good food and very friendly service. There are also some stalls set out in the village in the evenings selling crepes which were delicious.
We had a super holiday, extended somewhat unexpectedly by the ash cloud. We had quite a few difficulties getting our flights sorted out, but Jan and Mike were hugely supportive throughout. They maintained regular contact throughout and arranged for us to stay on in the villa.
I cannot recommend highly enough the friendly, efficient and personal customer service they provide.
If you are considering staying in Cyprus, then Secret Valley is a great location (make sure you book car hire!) and stay in one of the villas managed by Jan - you won't be disappointed.susan linda Derbyshire April 2010

Very nice Villa, clean and very nicely decorated. Nice quiet luxury residential area with views of the coast in the distance. Not far to the road (5 mins in car) for trips to sights but far enough away not to be bothered by traffic in any way. Pool was heated and very nice and gardens very pretty. Good for families, groups or couples. Jan was very helpful and the holiday went exactly as planned. One point, you will need a car to really enjoy Cyprus.

1 month out of the snow in Petra Tou Romiou by Meninx on June 2, 2010
we booked the villa for 1 month to get out of the british snow. We had a great time in Cyprus and found everything we needed. The heated pool was well worth the money, but if we used it for most of the day then we found it was colder the next day so we tended to use it eevery otherday. this wont be a problem n summer months. the same goes for the hot water heated by solor panels there didnt seem enough sun so we had to use the switch to heat the water for baths and showers. We enjoyed the time we spent in the vil everythng we needed to live there was available and the villa was well funished and decorated. THe few problems we had were nothing to do with the owners of the vill but other companies. firstly the internet was down when we arrived and took nearly 2 weeks to get up and going but that was the city cells problem, secondly as English family the tv channels could have had more choice in the end i paid to have my computer proxy to an english ip so i could watch english channels on the laptop and then used a computer cable to hook up to the tv. again not the villsa problem. The villa had a good feel and vibe to it and if we had any problems that were about the villa i.e. the heater broke in a bedroom, then the maintence people were stright onto it and it was fixxed in a few days.
We would definitly book this villa again and thought it was value for money. If booking this villa make sure that you book hire car as the nearest shop is around a 5 min drive and 10 mins for a garage. This would translate to a long walk, wich is ok if you like the scenery. the staff and booking agents for the villa were freindly and helped us with any problems such as rehiring for 3 extra days as the plane home was cancelled, They were happy to help us and even made arrangments that suited us so we could relax and be comfatable. I recomend this villa to anyone, if in the winter months definitly get the pool heated as it will get cold.
