The villa is located in the residential area of the Secret Valley Golf Resort overlooking the mountains to the front and south facing stunning sea views to the rear. Benefiting from its own private pool and larger than average landscaped gardens this is the perfect place for families and golfers to relax and unwind. The villa is close to the village of Kouklia and the Aprhodites Golf Resort both offerring excellent restaurants. The nightlife in paphos is not far by car or taxi. The nearest beach is less than 5 minutes away and the stunning Pissouri Bay is 15 minutes by car.
The villa is situated over 2 floors. The ground floor comprises of separate fully fitted Kitchen and Cloak room and open plan dining room and lounge seating 6 people with views over the garden and pool area. Upstairs there are 3 large double bedrooms each capable of being made into double or twin rooms to suit clients. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and a balcony with panoramic sea views. The villa has been furnished to a high standard with leather settees and co-ordinted soft furnishings. Outside there is a covered patio area with table and chairs for alfresco dining.

The Paphos District
Cyprus is one of Europe’s favourite holiday destinations. With friendly English speaking locals, excellent food and wine and over 5000 years of history not to mention its many fabulous beaches. The climate is good all year round with July-August being the hottest months of the year. Best time to visit for Golf is between March-June and September-December.
Cyprus has many fine archaeological sites including at least 3 amphi theatres where theatrical performances and concerts take place during the summer.
Plases to Visit include Paphos Castle (during September it is the set for the opera). Paphos Mosaics and Odeon The site of the tombs of the kings Kolossi castle. Kouklia Village (3 min drive from Villa) Mountain Villages in the Troodos, Omodos and Lefkara and Platres well worth visiting The Fishing Village of Latchi
Walking Walking is a pleasant way to spend time in Cyprus especially in the spring and autumn.
Coastal walking is very scenic near to the villa and the Troodos has several marked trails encompassing rivers, forestry and ravines.
The Akamas peninsular also has trails starting from Aphrodites Baths west of Latchi and Polis and of course it is interesting merely to wander around the villages.
Secret Valley Resort / Ha Potami Phase B area
GOLF
The Secret Valley Golf Resort is just 2 mins. from villa Callistro. It is an 18 hole championship course playing to par 72 and measuring 6120 metres. It is a relaxing scenic course amidst mature trees and very attractive planting and set against a natural backdrop of dramatic rock formation. The course was opened in 1996 and sports a very stylish clubhouse and restaurant from where you can survey the beautiful grounds and lake, Peak rate green fees are about CY£30 (mid sept. to mid may) Clubs, trolleys, and buggies and are available for hire. There is a driving range and practice areas and lessons can be arranged. You will need to book in advance during peak session. The club house has a well stocked pro-shop. There is a PGA professional available for tuition.
Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort is 5 minutes from the Villa, another 18 hole course of 6200 metres par72. This very challenging course opened in 2002 and comprises of 2 plateaus separated by a steep ravine and makes the most of the spectacular terrain bearing olives and carob trees and views of the sea. The clubhouse is a high standard offering an extensive menu. Peak rate green fees are about £60 including a shared buggy.
Tsada Golf Course is about 20 mins. from Villa Callistro, nestles in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains 500 metres above sea level, so cooler in the summer. Again a challenging 18 hole course laid out in 2 loops of 9 holes blending beautifully with the natural environment of fruit trees, vines and streams, 6000 metres in length and par71. It has a clubhouse and restaurant with green fees similar to Secret Valley.
All players must be 16 and over and able to produce a current handicap certificate. The maximum for gentleman is 28 and 36 for ladies. Players without a handicap will have restricted access and you will need to check with the club. Dress codes are strictly enforced. Only knee length shorts allowed, no T shirts. Mens shirts must have a collar and long or short sleeves. Ladies must have a collar but will be allowed short sleeves. All players to wear golfing shoes with soft spikes, but trainers may be allowed.

EATING OUT
Eating Out in Cyprus is Cheap and you are spoilt for choice. Locally there are excellent traditional greek taverna's in the villages of Kouklia and Pissouri (also good for fish meze). The Aprhodite Hills Resort Offers an excellent Italian, Oriental and Greek Restaurants and a bar brasserie. It also has an icream shop and fresh bread is available from the local shop. If you fancy travelling further afield there are an array of fine restaurants in paphos including indian, mexican, french, chinese, greek. A taxi to paphos costs about £15.00 CY pounds.
How to get there
The villa is a 10 minute drive away from Pahpos Airport and just over an hour from Larnaca Airport. A number of Airlines Offer cheap flights to Cyprus including Monarch, British Airways and Cyprus Airways. A number of tour operators including Thompson and Airtours also offer flight only options at reasonable prices from most uk airports.
We can arrange for airport transfers to and from the villa if required, though we do advise car hire for all our guests.Car hire is available at the airport, and we recommend our guests pre-arrange this prior to departure from the UK.
