About the home

Villa Tyche is our LUXURIOUS 3 bedroom, single story villa with PRIVATE HEATED pool, furnished to an extremely high standard and equipped with air conditioning throughout, SKY TV, WIRELESS BROADBAND internet connection and 42" PLASMA TV. The open plan lounge area leads to the modern fitted kitchen and delightful circular shaped dining area. Master Bedroom has its own en suite shower room and verandah with table and chairs. Bedroom 2 has its own en suite bathroom whilst Bedroom 3 is conveniently situated opposite a separate family shower room. All bathrooms/shower rooms have WCs and wash basins. In the rear garden is a PRIVATE HEATED south facing, 8 x 4 meter pool with walk-in steps, set in impressive landscaping. There is a large shaded terrace with table and chairs to relax and enjoy stunning views overlooking the sea, together with a BBQ nearby. External stairs lead up to the private sun roof terrace with table and chairs and wonderful views of the sea and the mountains to the other side.

Whether on holiday to play golf, sightsee or simply to chill and relax, our villa will provide the perfect base for your stay. Villa Tyche is situated in Phase B Ha Potami Secret Valley Golf Resort with both SECRET VALLEY and APHRODITE HILLS golf courses just 5 minutes drive, ELEA ESTATE golf course just 10 minutesdrive and TSADA (MENTHIS HILLS) golf course 25 minutes drive, whilst all essential amenities are within10 minutes drive.

The lounge area is open plan (sliding patio doors leading straight out into the garden and private pool areas) with comfortable seating and 42" PLASMA TV with SKY TV (small additional fee) and DVD player with a large selection of films on DVD to watch, with something for all the family particularly children. WIRELESS BROADBAND connection (small additional fee) is available should you bring your laptop. The dining area is an attractive feature of the property, circular in shape for up to 6 people to dine and relax. The spacious kitchen is made to a very high spec with granite worktops and is equipped with all the necessary electrical appliances, including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven & hob, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There is also an iPOD SPEAKER AND DOCKING STATION to enjoy your own music. An air conditioning unit is located in the main lounge area.

All bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes and black out blinds to protect from the sunshine. The Master bedroom has a king size bed with its own en-suite shower/sink/wc with outside balcony. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds with its own en-suite bathroom with shower/bath/sink/wc. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and is opposite another shower room with sink/wc. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning units.

A safe is available to store personal possessions.

We can also provide 2 sets of mens and 1 ladies' set of GOLF CLUBS upon request for a small additional fee.

Further details outdoors:
The exterior of the villa has been landscaped with a grass area in front of the large covered terrace area with a table and chairs to relax on. A large BBQ is nearby for those wishing to enjoy the local meat or fish which can be bought locally. The extensive garden which surrounds the villa is established with palm trees, numerous scrubs and trees. Also at the rear of the villa is the 8 x 4 swimming pool (3 steps into) which can be HEATED (for an additional fee) with 6 sun beds placed around the patio area surrounding the pool.

Upstairs is a further sun terrace with table and chairs for you to enjoy the stunning views.

Our Management company (English) will be available to help and also provide a list of places to go (local shops, restaurants etc.)

Bed linen and bath towels provided.

Cots and highchairs are available (to be requested at time of booking payable locally)

SMOKING ONLY PERMITTED OUTSIDE.

For clients staying 10 days or longer a mid-week clean and change of bedding/towels is carried out.

The Paphos region

Paphos the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite is situated on the South-West coast of the Island and enjoys the healthiest year round climate with approximately 340 days sunshine per year. Average temperatures range from 20 degrees and rising to 30-40 degrees in the summer months.

Paphos a thriving coastal city with archaeological treasures and ancient legends is situated 20 minutes on the new A6 motorway. There are many interesting places to visit, including the ancient harbour and fort and the Tombs of the Kings. Aphrodite Water Park is the perfect day out for the kids. Paphos has a wide variety of restaurants which provide local and Greek dishes as well as international cuisine such as Chinese, Indian, Italian and French. You will also find nightclubs with good live music, discos and a variety of bars.

Paphos International Airport is approximately 10 minutes drive and is presently undergoing works to increase flight/passenger capacity.

The Secret Valley Resort / Ha Potami Phase B area

Villa Tyche is situated on the prestigious Secret Valley Golf resort, set in a scenic valley with colourful rock formations, mature trees and spectacular views.

The resort is rapidly developing and is a 5 minute drive to the 18 hole course which plays to a par 71 and measures 5,904 metres. Also available are practice facilities, including putting greens, chipping areas, green side bunker and a large driving range.

Secret Valley has a very spacious and comfortable club house with a wooden interior and facilities including a Pro-shop, locker rooms, bar and restaurant with verandas overlooking the lakes and golf course. The restaurant offers an excellent menu at very reasonable prices.

The resort is rapidly developing and plans are in place for restaurants, retail outlets, sports facilities, beach development and an internationally recognised new golf course.

Aphrodite Hills Golf Club is a 10 minute drive which also has an 18 hole course, together with club house, restaurants, shops, health spar and other facilities.

Pissouri village is a 15 minute drive which stands on a hilltop. The village square is surrounded by small family run restaurants and cafes and shops. Outside the main village area you will find the beach set in a bay with restaurants and water sports.

Smaller villages nearby are Kouklia and Mandria which offer traditional local taverns and limited facilities and amenities.

Just wanted to say what a great time we had at Villa Tyche, a real home from home with every amenity catered for, only with the added bonus of stunning views, fantastic weather, a marvellous pool with surrounding sunbathing area (we’ve all returned with glorious tans), a purpose built BBQ that was used on most nights whilst sitting out on the patio under cloudless skies. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would like to add how immaculate the inside has been presented for your guests to enjoy, a real top draw ambiance has been achieved adding that icing to the proverbial cake so to speak.

We thought your villa was fantastic. We have stayed in many different villas over the last 10 years and yours was the most modern one. What we liked about it was it was exactly like the pictures, the decor was lovely and all the little touches made it feel a real home from home. The iPod docking station was brill as was the TV. Well as you can imagine with Euro 2008 being on the men in the party thought it was excellent!

Overall for proximity to the airport and the golf clubs etc the villa was first class. Also your directions were spot on. There wasn't anything with the villa we could improve upon; it really is a lovely home.

Had a great time at Villa Tyche, weather was terrific and the villa really had lots of nice personal touches. The garden is absolutely stunning and was a real big plus!
