The Paphos District

The local area is part of the Paphos district and is slightly hilly, with some gentle walks and nature trails. For those who like to walk and explore there are some great walks in the Troodos Mountains, approx. an hour's drive away. The nearest pepple beach is a 5 minute drive away, however a lovely sandy beach with facilities is just 3km away at Aphrodite Rock and a popular sandy beach with facilities and restaurants can be found nearby at Pissouri.

There is plenty to see and do in the area and you can explore Aphrodite's Rock, The Tomb of Kings and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Paphos with its harbour, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Alternatively there is excellent more traditional food and wine to be found in the towns of Pissouri and Kouklia, near the Secret Valley Resort. For the more active among you there are water-sports, a water-park and a go-karting track in Coral Bay.

Secret Valley Resort area

The Secret Valley Golf Course is a mature 6120 metre, par 72, 18-hole golf course with excellent facilities. The first 9 holes of a new 18-hole course is also available, the remaining 9 will follow soon. The Tsada Golf Course is 20 minutes drive from the villa (6060 metre, par 72 course). Next door to Secret Valley, just 5 minutes drive away, is the Aphrodite Golf complex, which includes the luxurious 5-star Intercontinental Hotel. Here you can find a supermarket, coffee shop, bars and restaurants, as well as the challenging18-hole golf course.
