About the home

Villa Bacchus is a luxury 3 bedroom villa which has been tastefully decorated throughout. Just as impressive is the exterior of the villa with its large terrace,beautiful mature landscaped gardens and sat in the middle of these gardens is the wonderful 12mx6m pool which is guaranteed to keep the younger members of the family entertained whilst the adults can just kick back and relax.

Downstairs the kitchen is fully equipped and all worktops are granite. The dining area has a marble dining table which can seat 8 and the lounge provides 2 cream leather settees,fireplace,32 inch plasma TV, satellite, i-pod docking station,DVD player and a selection of DVD's.

Upstairs all mattresses in the 3 bedrooms can be zipped together to provide 3 double beds or unzipped to provide 6 singles. Each bedroom has wonderful views. There is a family bathroom and an en suite off the Master bedroom.

Further details outdoors:
The front of the property has a large 'in and out' driveway surrounded by numerous shrubs and well manicured topiary trees. To the rear of the property is the large terrace which overlooks the fantastic garden and huge pool.

This terrace provides an area with soft seats for lounging and watching TV,an area with an outdoor contemporary dining set and a further area outside the kitchen which is a convenient place for drying costumes and towels etc. on the airers provided.

Further details

Linen and bathtowels are provided and are changed weekly. Smoking is permitted on the terrace and around the pool/BBQ area but not in the house.

Guests must ensure all cigarettes are extinguished properly in the covered ash trays provided. Long term lets are available between 1st November and 1st April with a 15% discount to the normal rates. Guests are kindly requested to vacate the premises by midday on the day of departure.In the case of late departures, where possible we will try to extend this for you as best as we can.

Conditions

A 25% deposit is due on confirmation of your booking. The balance will become due 4 weeks before your arrival. Cancellations within 8 weeks of the date booked will result in loss of deposit.

The Paphos region

Paphos is some 20 minutes away from Villa Bacchus and the town provides a wealth of restaurants and entertainment to suit a broad spectrum of tastes and budgets.

Paphos area is a relaxing seaside resort in the south-west corner of Cyprus, with few safe beaches, a large variety of restaurants and bars, and a wealth of fascinating archaeological sites to visit. The harbour area is full of history with ancient ruins, mosaics and an amphitheatre that are all open to the public, including the 16th century fortress, which offers superb harbour views. For golfers there are three courses nearby, and a short trip along the coast takes you to lovely coves and beaches.

The Secret Valley Resort / Hapotami Phase C area

The Secret Valley/Venus Rock development is within easy reach of 4 golf courses,the furthest one(Tsada) being 30 minutes by car and the 2 nearest (Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills)are a 5 minute drive away. The new Nick Faldo designed Elea Golf Club is about 15 minutes away.

There are also bars,restaurants a Costa Coffe, a mini market and a cash point located at nearby Aphrodite Hills.

There are several UK airlines who fly directly into Pafos International Airport(approx 15 mins by car/taxi from Villa Bacchus). These include Easyjet,Monarch,Thomson and British Airways. There are also a large number of flights into Larnaca International Airport(approx 90 mins by car/taxi.)

“Outstanding well equipped family villa” We found this villa to be of a very high standard with excellent outdoor facilities and shaded areas for young children. The service we received from both Mike the manager and Nigel the owner was outstanding, all of our needs were catered for, as the villa is well equipped for all the family. New conditioning units have been installed in the bedrooms. The swimming pool is larger than average and was perfect for my 4 year old who could stand comfortably in the shallow end. Local supermarkets and restaurants are an easy 5 minute drive away. Thank You for an enjoyable stay we look forward to returning to the villa next year.

“And reeelax!! Awesome villa, fresh, modern, luxurious, home from home” Owner Nigel, is a gent, and a pleasure to deal with, very helpful indeed. The villa is amazing, modern, box-fresh, perfectly situated, nice quiet area and very luxuriously appointed indeed. Nice elevated location with lovely cooling breeze. October weather here was 27-30oC, dropping to low 20's overnight. Nice & comfortable. Very well kitted out kitchen, loads of glasses, crockery, pans, utensils, kids plates, cups etc. Awesome outside space with a huge safe pool and amazing spacious mature gardens. Big barbeque area, massive patio, great outside tables n chairs etc.. Nice & safe for kids with gates all around the patio  Has everything that we needed and more to ensure that we had a fantastic time.   Sorted with a nice fast wireless broadband connection & satellite tv. Comfy sofas, nice furniture , good aircon, not that we needed it much at this time Has been a truly awesome and memorable break.  Sad to have to leave, unfortunately we only had one week. But plenty to see & do in the area to spend few weeks here no probs. Nice and near to Paphos, water parks golf,, historical monments etc. But far enough away from the bustle. We'll definitely be back again!! Many thanks

“Contemporary villa with a home from home feel” Fantastic, spacious, contemporary style villa with a beautiful garden and fenced off pool. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could want for a young family. We were a party of 7 including Nana, Grandad, Mum, Dad & 3 children aged 6,5 & 1 years old. From the moment we pulled onto the driveway we felt at home. The location of the villa is perfect within easy reach of many attractions, villages and the airport but also situated within the Secret Valley and the views and peace that offers. The villa owners are very friendly and helpful and the whole booking process was easy. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Villa Bacchus. Thank you

“Excellent villa, fantastic pool and beautiful gardens, everything you need in a villa holiday is here.” We had a fantastic time in the villa. It is one of the best we have ever stayed at. We were the first 'guests' in the villa and everything seemed very new, which was great. The gardens were a real bonus, given how established they are and really added to our enjoyment, especially the local wildlife they attract. (See the photo of 'Larry the lizard'), If you enjoy cooking on holiday, the kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever had in a villa.The extension to the covered patio area with the weaved fabric shades and the addition of the gates/fencing to the edge of the now fully covered patio area are brilliant. This makes the external patio space usable throughout the day and the pool area very safe for those with toddlers/non swimmers. The pool is one of the best we have had access to. Not just the size (12m x 8m), but also the depth profile which makes it ideal for swimmers and non swimmers alike. The sail sun shade is a great addition, as we found the breeze made the use of the brolly sun shade a bit impractical in the stronger afternoon breezes. The WiFi is a bonus ,with two teenagers desperate to maintain their Facebook profiles and we even managed to get the X-Box live service up and running on my son's X-Box. Hope to be back next year.
