Yassas! My name is Louise and my husband, Henry, and I would like to WELCOME you to our lovely Villa at the prestigious Secret Valley Resort. Villa Lucia has a grand entrance sits within beautiful gardens and has a lovely stone and graffiato finish.
There is a lovely feeling of space and tranquillity around Villa Lucia which has been enhanced by sun kissed terraces, a mature garden, lawned play areas and modern sun decks. The beautiful natural surroundings extend from large open verandahs to the most breathtaking sea and mountain views and you will feel the stresses of your day to day life melt from you as you take a sip of wine and watch your first sunset!

The Paphos District
PISSOURI Perched on the hillside, the views from Pissouri village and its surroundings are spectacular. To the East it is possible to see across the countryside to the shoreline stretching all the way to Limassol and even beyond. Pissouri has a quaint, unique character bestowed by winding cobbled streets lined with charming rustic houses. The Cypriot character has certainly been retained and is what attracts so many visitors.
There is an exceptional choice of restaurants and taverns offering a wide range of cuisine; Pissouri really does have it all; from ice creams palours to exquisite fine dining there are restaurants for all occasions! During the summer there is a traditional 'Cyprus night' in the lovely pedestrianised village square, with dancing and music. It is hosted by the 3 restaurants and their collaboration creates an incredible party atmosphere that is so infectious you can’t help but be drawn into the merriment!
KOURION BEACH AND AMPHITHEATRE The ancient Hellenistic Kourion Theatre which sits on the top of a hill overlooks the glistening Mediterranean Sea, was constructed probably around the late 2nd century A.D.The magnificent presence of this ancient relic resonates of times gone by and over the years it’s stage featured raging gladiators as well as plays and operas.
The view from Kourion Ampitheatre is nothing short of spectacular and at its feet you will find the ever popular Kourion Beach. (sometimes spelled Curium). Kourion is a sandy blue flag beach with a gentle shoreline. It can however be a little windier here and as there are no wave breaks it is a great place for wind surfing, kite boarding and even hand gliding. There are 3 restaurants on the beach and I have to be extremely bias on this occasion and show my loyalty to Chris’s Blue Bar and Restaurant, which is the middle one!
PAPHOS Paphos is situated approximately a 20 minute drive from Secret Valley. Kato Paphos and the main tourist area is land marked by the pretty harbour and dramatic Fort perched on the waters edge. The promenade is the perfect place for a stroll in the warm sunshine and you will find many taverns offering fresh fish and local cuisine to while away an afternoon whilst watching the little fishing boats bob up and down in the water.
Paphos is rich in ancient sites, including the House of Dionysos and the Villa of Theseus, with beautiful mosaic floors, and the Tombs of the Kings. There is a wide variety of activities and facilities to suit all ages whether you are holidaying or living here permanently.
Secret Valley Resort / Hapotami Phase C area
The Secret Valley Golf Course is a highly prestigious golf course located in the renowned area of "Petra tou Romiou", the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations.
The course is consistently appearing as the preferred course amongst the islands visiting players in terms of sheer playability and enjoyment.
The spacious clubhouse with its restaurant and bar facilities is an excellent spot to relax after a good game of golf. The interior of wood and stone is a pleasant surprise, the comfortable chairs are very inviting and you don’t want to get out of them easily ones you are seated. Very comfortable!
Open daily from 07.00 – 19.00 with its ala carte menu. Friday and Saturday evening the kitchen will be open until 22.00 Sundays offer a Carvery lunch buffet.
APRODITE HILLS Aphrodite Hills 18-hole standard championship golf course follows the scenic contours of the two plateau that are divided by a central ravine. A premier Golf Academy and Pro Shop enhance your golf experience, while the Clubhouse offers delectable specialties and a breathtaking view to the golf course.
RESTAURANTS AND TAVERNAS Pithari Tavern offers guests the opportunity to taste authentic island cookery and serves traditional tavern-type food in either the meze or the a la carte variation. The menu consists of a variety of Greek and Cypriot meat and fish dishes prepared in accordance with authentic recipes.
Anoi Pub & Bar serves a large variety of draft and bottled beers, a new world wine list and quality fast-food favourites from steaks and potato skins to fajitas and spicy chicken wings, potato skins, mozzarella dips and spicy chicken wings, quickly prepared steaks, ribs and some traditional Mexican food like fajitas and the traditional juicy hamburgers. Desserts, ice creams and smoothies are also available.
Zimi Pizza & Pasta is a traditional over the counter restaurant with a great variety of freshly made pizzas and calzones, oven-baked pasta dishes and pasta classics prepared to order, and a fresh salad bar for quick service.
Platia Coffee Shop-Ouzerie is a truly traditional Cypriot Coffee Shop serving coffee made in the utzaki and served with with lizos—the traditional Paphos delights. The coffee shop also serves traditional Middle Eastern and preserved sweets, a variety of olive and cheese pies (Cyprus and Greek style), and other local puff pastry specialities.
Gefsis Gelateria & Crêperie serves top quality Häagen Dazs ice cream, served in homemade cones of different flavours, either for seated consumption or to be sealed and taken away. Confectionary creations are also prepared along with ice cream serving such as pancakes, Belgian crêpes and waffles, complete with a variety of tantalising toppings.

Further details indoors: ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU ROUND!! Inside, the villa is light and airy with cream walls and beautiful cool, Italian tiles which flow effortlessly from each room. On the ground floor there a large Dining Kitchen, a Lounge, A guest wc, a Double Bedroom and a Bathroom.
The kitchen has beautiful granite work surfaces and is equipped with everything you could need. There are plenty of beech units, a double sink and light beige granite worksurfaces. It has modern appliances including a tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher, an electric fan assisted oven and ceramic hob, waffle maker, blender, popcorn maker, Panini maker and a variety of high quality designer pots and pans to make your cooking experience an event!
We really have tried to think of everything and hope that you enjoy it! You may be on holiday and not choose to spend too much time in the kitchen, however if you prefer to stay at home everything is at hand to rustle up a gourmet meal. The scene at night is as spectacular as those in the day! Look upward to a star studded sky that resembles a planetarium! The star’s silvery light shine upon the perfect setting for a romantic evening …
The Dining Room has patio doors leading out to the large, private pool and verandah area. Sunshine pours through into this lovely open room and it is a peaceful place to have your first cup of tea! The Dining table comfortably seats 6 and does extend to seat 8.
The Lounge is bright with sunshine flowing in through a wall of glass patio doors that lead out onto the outdoor patio. The room is decorated with a modern Italian lounge suite, fine artwork and coffee / side tables. Of course my husband has given pride of place to a 42’ plasma T.V with surround sound, DVD / CD player, Satellite system and Playstation!
Completing the ground floor area is a Double Bedroom with en suite bathroom. The bedroom has cream fitted wardrobes and patio doors leading out to the villa’s terrace. The bathroom is finished with large Italian tiles with mosaic borders.
The Stairs has a beautiful, large window with far reaching views of distant mountains. Again sunshine pours through and from the moment you leave your boudoir you are uplifted by the sight of another lovely sunny day!
Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms the master bedroom has a double bed with 2 bedside tables and a dressing table. There are fitted cream units which provide plenty of storage space and a stylish en suite. There is a lovely private balcony where you can relax in solitude with a glass of wine and a good book!
The second bedroom has twin beds, a bedside table, fitted wardrobes and en suite shower room. From the landing and second bedroom you can access a large sun garden.
It is a great advantage that ALL bedrooms have access onto their own STUNNING balconies / verandahs. This is where you will be WOWED with glorious panoramic views of the blue Mediterranean Sea with magnificent mountains as its backdrop. Day or night, the views are spectacular! In the evening watch the distant cruise liners sail by and the twinkling lights of neighbouring villages.
Further details outdoors: The patio doors lead out to the main covered veranda which has rattan furniture. There are heavy scents of orange blossom and jasmine in the air the kind of smell where you know that you are going to have a GREAT holiday!
Plunge into the 10m x 5m Swimming Pool or relax by on the luxurious sun drenched loungers. Villa Lucia is a peaceful place to soak up those rays! N.B. For your safety, please note that the swimming pool area is not enclosed and therefore it is not suitable for unsupervised children.
There is a patio table by the pool and should you have no desire to leave the waterside - the barbie can be sizzling with local sheftalia and souvla in no time at all!
The outdoor space is wonderful part of the villa and everyone will find their own favourite corner where they can enjoy moments of peace and quiet!

"A great villa for a family holiday or for 2 or 3 couples. All bedrooms have excellent en-suite facilities and the villa is fully equipped with everything you need including towels & beach towels. The kitchen is well equipped as well for self catering. Secret Valley is a great location for visiting the sights around Paphos & Limassol with some good locations for swimming in the med near by. We had a great holiday there in August and would definitely consider returning in 2010."
