"Great cottage - great location"

The cottage was booked as a Christmas present for a short mid-week break. The owner contacted us by phone a couple of days before our departure giving us comprehensive information about the cottage (including collection of keys) and added very much appreciated suggestions on places to visit in the vicinity.
The cottage itself was in immaculate condition and as we were to find out later was in a great location for visiting such places as the coast (Hornsea and the walks at Spurn Head) and towns such as Beverley and Driffield. If you didn't feel like travelling or cooking the village had an excellent local with very good food.
The cottage was quiet and secluded and was decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The kitchen and bathroom were first class and the only very minor negative was the shower curtain in the bath was a little awkward to use with the taps.
Overall an excellent property and break which we would readily recommend to anyone.
