A lovely light sunny apartment ,very well furnished and a well equipped kitchen.
Bedroom 1: king size bed ,Bedroom 2 :bunk beds.Bedroom 3; single raised bed .
There is no parking with the apartment,but there are plenty of cheap car parks very close by,or you can purchase a weekly car parking ticket for £21 which covers you for any East Devon car parks.
This could be a big saving if you are going to travel to the other resorts in the area.
Great for winter short breaks.

The West Country region
A great base for discovering Devon and Dorset. A 10 minute drive over the border into Dorset is popular Lyme Regis with its famous cob, characterful streets and great walks along the Jurassic coast.
Closer is the charming fishing village of Beer whilst it is a little further to Branscome and Sidmouth. There is plenty to do and see in this area, with long stretches of beach, beautiful inland scenery and charming villages.
Seaton is situated on the coast and has a mile-long pebble beach with rock pools at Seaton Hole, offering plenty of opportunities for water sports and swimming.
The Axe Harbour where children love to go crabbing and the spectacular cliff top Golf course are a pleasant 10 minute stroll away down the Esplanade.

There are various walking and cycle paths, and of course the open top Seaton Tramway which takes you out to the Nature Reserve for wildlife enthusiasts, and nearby Colyton and Colyford.
There are many attractions in the surrounding area, many suited to children and walkers.

"Lovely holiday home"
First impressions of property weren't good - ground level front door led onto a rather shabby hallway. However, having entered the flat itself we were very impressed - it was bright, airy, well decorated and furnished to a high standard. Web site did not mention that one bedroom had bunk beds, but for us, this wasn't a problem. All the beds were very comfortable and sofas in lounge were lovely to sink into at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Satellite TV was watchable in the living room or main bedroom, wi-fi was available and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could have needed.
One (small) complaint we had was regarding the windows of the property. In the living room, there was a rattle when it was windy. Also, the windows were not very soundproof. Seagulls were very noisy, as would be expected as we were so close to the coast. There was also a fair bit of noise from patrons of the nearby pubs / clubs at closing time which went on until the early hours of the morning some nights (although in fairness, week days were ok - most noise was on Friday / Saturday nights. I think perhaps the owner could help by upgrading the windows so they are more soundproof ?
Also, there were a few maintenance issues with the flat. It seemed like there was only minimal inspection of the property between rentals, as we found a few damaged items and left over clothing and other items from previous visitors.
All in all, this was a great property which we would thoroughly recommend. There are 32 steps up to the flat (my sons loved counting them lol) - but the flat and the view afforded from it certainly made the climb worthwhile !

"Good value, convenient location, well equipped flat."
We holidayed with our 3 teenage boys who loved the flat and sky tv! Light and spacious and well equipped. Centrally located so very convenient to local amenities. Bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nigh… More

"Great place as a base for exploring Devon"

"Holiday from Hell"
On the last day of our holiday we discovered a folder that should have been available at the start of out stay - the instruction file. All week we had to work out how the dishwasher, sky t v, washer/drier, hot water system worked.
We were not told that the single beds in the bedroom were in fact a metal bunk bed.
The noise from the sea gulls went on day and night.
Nearby is a night club that opens on Fridays & Saturdays causing a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning as they pass to go to the take away and back.
The seating is very uncomfortable and the cutlery difficult to use (funny shapes),
Car parking now costs £21.00 per week, cash only at tourist info (no credit cards accepted)
1. There is no folder or instruction file.
2. A phone number is on the wall you may call anytime so that any problems can quickly be resolved.
3. The beds are metal bunk beds plus a single metal bed.
4. This is a seaside resort and you should know there are seagulls and we have no control over their noise,there is a nightclub and sometimes this can noisy on Friday and Saterday,but not always ,the rest of the week is quiet.
5. We use the property quite often and do not understand the comment about the seating it is very comfortable.
6. The cutlery is fine, spoons are a funny shape though.
7. There is some free parking which was pointed out to you when we met on your arrival at the property.
8. We have been letting this flat for 5 yrs and this is only the second complaint we have had.
