Conveniently just a 5-minute level stroll to the local shops in one direction and pretty Axe Harbour with yacht club and cliff top golf course in the other. Walk along by the River Axe to pretty village of Axmouth one mile away with 2 local inns. Nearby is the famous Seaton tramway, which runs along the beautiful River and Valley (a bird watcher's paradise) to Colyford and market town of Colyton.
Superb walks along the South West Coast Path one way to nearby Lyme Regis with famous Cobb and the other to the quaint fishing village of Beer, further on to Branscombe and Sidmouth.

• A deposit of 20% of property rental to reserve a property. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
• Payment taken by bank transfer, cheque, debit or credit card. Credit card payments incur a 2.5% surcharge.
• Our changeover day is Saturday.
• A good housekeeping Security Deposit of £100 payable on all bookings, paid with final balance, and returned after departure once the cottage has been checked.
• One dog allowed at £20 each per week, if more than one please phone.
• Available travel cot, high chair, stair gate and baby bath at no extra charge.

Seaton - Gateway to the Jurassic Coast
Pretty, friendly, traditional seaside town, the first in East Devon from Dorset, situated at the mouth of the River Axe overlooking the spectacular Lyme Bay. Bright, relaxed and uncommercialized resort with mixture of Victorian and Edwardian architecture and pedestrianised town centre.
Superb mile long pebble beach with promenade with rock pools at Seaton Hole on the western end.
Unique scenic walks along the South West Coastal path to Lyme Regis by the famous Landslip and over the cliffs to Beer.
The Jubilee and Seafield Gardens with Cactus house, children's playground, putting green and tennis courts are ideal places to visit. Aslo, worth a visit is the award winning Seaton Labyrinth, a 60ft diameter spiral walk, made from seven types of stone from the World Heritage Coast.
Open top tram travels by the beautiful River Axe Valley, the Nature Reserve for wildlife enthusiasts - a bird lovers paradise to nearby Colyford and Colyton.
Many amenities:- Golf Course, Putting, Bowling, Tennis, fishing, sailing, windsurfing. monthly famrmers' market, Heritage Museum, Picture Village of Axmouth with 2 popular Inns, is a lovely level walk along the Estuary.
Sidmouth an elegant seaside town, flanked by the red cliff coastline and green hills of the beautiful Sid Valley, with pebble and sand beaches and a level seafront promenade. Sidmouth has much to offer - an excellent variety of shops, selection of inns, restaurants and cafes. Amenities of golf course, bowling, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, theatre, cinema, parks and gardens. Famous annual International Folk Festival. Just out of Sidmouth are the Noman Lockyer Observatory and the renowned Donkey Sanctuary, coastal resorts of Budleigh, Exmouth, Branscombe, Beer and Seaton are all within easy reach.
Nearby is Branscombe is a small peaceful village, one of the longest in the country surrounded by National Trust land, with spectacular cliffs, downs and wooded combs. Coastal paths to Beer and Sidmouth. Spacious pebbly beach. 12th Century Church, two traditional Inns serving real ales, seaside restaurant, working forge with Old Bakery Tearooms and Mill.
Beer is an unspoilt picturesque fishing village of smugglers and lace making fame. Jack Rattenbury, known as the Rob Roy of the West, a famous 19th Century Beer smuggler is celebrated on Rattenbury Day in September.
A small brook flows down through the village to the sea, with small bay and sheltered pebble beach, nestling between striking chalk cliffs of Seaton Hole and Beer Head, pleasure boats, fishing trips freshly caught crabs, lobsters and fish for sale.
Beach cafes serving excellent cooked breakfasts, light meals, local crab sandwiches and Devon Cream Teas.
Interesting Roman quarry caves. Miniature and model railway, pleasure gardens, art galleries, antiques, inns and restaurants.
