The cottage also provides an ideal base to explore the stunning Northumberland coastline.

The spacious lounge has two luxurious 4-seater sofas making it the perfect place for melting away into a world of your own. There is a TV, freeview digibox, DVD, video and CD player along with games and books for the whole family.

At the back of the cottage, the fully equipped kitchen extends to another sitting room with a comfortable sofa in front of a log fire as well as a TV and dining table which extends to comfortably seating 8 people. There is also an additional wc downstairs.

The cottage was built in 1834 and backs onto one of the many famous ‘Herring Yards’ (no longer used) in Seahouses. The yard now provides ample parking and space to sit out and enjoy a barbecue. Ideal for entertaining family or friends.

The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. "When you arrive at the cottage you don’t realise how big it is inside – it's massive! 3 bathrooms is a real bonus with 3 families and the décor is really tasteful"

"Great location, near beaches, shops and harbour and it's so peaceful at the back of the cottage. Good sized cottage and more than enough room for 8 of us."
