Home description
This superb three bedroom cottage is located in the heart of the historic harbour area in Seahouses. As the name suggests, the cottage was once owned by the Herring Master and is adjacent to one of the few remaining herring yards in the village (no longer in use).
The cottage itself, which retains all of its original character, has been tastefully decorated throughout, with quality furniture and carpets. The multi fuel stove set within an inglenook fireplace in the lounge is a fabulous feature and provides the heating for the cottage in the winter.
There is a conservatory at the front of the cottage, where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon on one of the comfortable wicker chairs.

There is plenty to do in and around the village including golf, riding, cycling, fishing and much more. Alnwick is only 15 minutes away, where you can visit the spectacular Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Bamburgh Castle is only 3 miles away and Lindisfarne and Holy Island are also easily accessible from Seahouses.
