This cottage has a modern, light and spacious open plan kichen/diner. The kitchen/dining area has beautiful wooden flooring and halogen lighting throughout. It is well equipped and includes a built in microwave, ceramic hob and electric oven, extractor fan, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The superb dining area has a large oak table and leather chairs for up to 6 people. There is a door leading from the kitchen out onto a small patio area. In the warmer months you can enjoy sitting out and enjoy the colourful array of both potted and planted flowers and shrubs in this beautiful space.
From the kitchen/dining area there is a corridor which leads to the two bedrooms, one double and one twin; both bedrooms have build in wardrobes offering plenty of storage space.There is also a well equipped modern family bathroom with shower over the bath, basin and wc.
From the downstairs hall, there are stairs leading up to a stunning lounge which has sliding patio doors which offer fabulous views from the juliet balcony which overlooks the harbour and has views out to sea towards the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
The Seahouses area
At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

From the South
Continue past Newcastle and168533 Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses(13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.
Within ¼ mile, you will come to a garage on the left. Opposite the garage, turn right onto Dunstan View. Keep going down this road and you will pass two pubs on the right, The Schooner Inn and Black Swan. Just after the Black Swan pub .Keep going down this road and you will pass two pubs on the right, The Schooner Inn and Black Swan. Continue straight on to Crewe Street at the top of the harbour.
From the North
Continue past Berwick on the Al(M), follow signs for Alnwick. Just after a short distance of dual carriageway, take a left and follow signs for Seahouses (10miles) along the B6347.
