Northern England region

The Northumberland coastline is a land far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a county brimming with places to see and things to do amongst the most spectacular of landscapes.

Explore mile upon mile of gloriously uncrowded golden sandy beaches and stunning countryside set amongst two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged Northumberland National Park. Discover more castles than anywhere else in England, the birthplace of English Christianity on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the historic World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall, stunning Alnwick Garden picturesque towns and villages and much more.

There are plenty of golf courses and lots of activities and some great walking.

Seahouses

Seahouses is probably the biggest of the many villages that are dotted along the stunning Northumberland coastline. The village has a variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and not forgetting the famous fish and chip shops. The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boats from Seahouses harbour and there are two fantastic beaches either side of the village to the north and south.

There is plenty to do in and around the village including golf, riding, cycling, fishing and much more. Alnwick is only 15 minutes away, where you can visit the spectacular Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Bamburgh Castle is only 3 miles away and Lindisfarne and Holy Island are also easily accessible from Seahouses.

"Fantastic Cottage"

This cottage has got every thing you need on holiday, its warm, inviting, comfortable, clean, smart & modern, set in a quiet cul de sac, there is a patio set with seating for four, the cottage has a coastal feel to it with various seaside ornaments & pictures, we really enjoyed our stay & would book again, highly recommend, a first class cottage probably one of the best we have stayed in.
