"Lovely family get away."
I first came to Sea Palling to visit a friends Mother a few mths ago and was so taken with the place that i went on line to find a cottage where our young family could have a few days away by the coast. I came across 2 Farm cottage and couldnt be happier with what we got! Our 2 year old and 8 mths old were settled and accomodated for. Carolyn had set up cots and put out baby/ todder cutlery and stair gates for us. Its so near to the beach and a fun dune climb, A short walk to the small but adequate facilities of shops, amusements and ice cream and chip shop! We were really comfortable and warm and able to relax once the children has gone to bed. Hope to make it an annual trip and watch the children grow there. Highly recommended.

"Everything we could need had been thought of"
We booked this cottage at quite short notice and the owners promptly answered our questions and the whole booking experience was very efficient. The owners were there to meet us which was a lovely personal touch, including the welcome pack and the offer of a complimentary bottle of wine. We booked as a couple but had our 5 year old granddaughter and daughter stay with us for some of the week. The cottage is beautifully furnished, well maintained inside and out and had eveything we needed for a holiday by the sea; beach towels, games for the beach, windbreak, sun tent and an umbrella, to name but a few things. The back courtyard garden is very private and sheltered (ideal for containing young children) we loved watching the birds come to the well stocked feeders and made use of the barbeque. The beds were all very comfortable with lovely bedding and plenty of storage space in each bedroom for clothes. We also particularly enjoyed browsing through the many books in the cottage, even a 'things to make' book for children which had instructions on how to make a mobile from items found on the beach. The cottage is just a short walk to a path over the sand dunes to the beach, which we managed with a childs buggy, although there is a concrete slope to the beach a five minute walk away. The village has a small shop/post office which stocked most day to day items, plus there is a farm shop just outside of the village. There is a larger supermarket about 5 miles away in Stalham.

A cosy, quaint cottage well equipped for home living including deck chairs, buckets and spades for the beach etc. The beach is a short and easy walking away as is a great ice-cream parlour, which young children (and old) need to visit daily. We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, whether we stayed in Sea Palling and went to the beach or drove to a local attraction. We would recommend for all whole-heartedly.

"Characterful cottage in a fantastic location"
This is a great cottage for a family holiday, with loads of lovely personal touches, including toddler plates, bowls and cutlery laid out for us on arrival, childrens' bedlinen, games, beach equipment and a welcome pack. Being greeted by Carolyn on arrival was an added bonus. Our kids (2 and 6) loved the nautical feel, with lots of lighthouses and other ornaments, but the house still managed to be child friendly, with breakables largely out of reach. There is an enclosed courtyard garden which is ideal. The cottage is a very short walk from the fantastic safe sandy beach, ideal for popping in and out during the day. It is close to the long stay beach car park but this was hardly used when we were there. The location is ideal if you want to be off the beaten track but still within short driving distance of a supermarket and a great farm shop, and within easy reach of busier resorts such as Yarmouth and Wroxham. There is a village shop which supplies the basics within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay, and are planning on returning. Thanks Carolyn!
