"Wouldn't take much to make this accommodation much better"
Just returned from a 5 night break. First of all the pluses. Well situated with easy access to all parts of the Gower. Given it's rural location there's even a bus service to Swansea. Situat… More

"A Fabulous Family Friendly stay"
We stayed during the children's half term and I can only commend the stay from start to finish. The accommodation is bright, fresh and clean and the additional touches such as some children's toys, the TV and wii enabled myself and husband to relax knowing the boys had plenty to keep them occupied. The pool and jacuzzi was clean and fun and enabled us to have a good mixture of activities each day. I do have to say that we were lucky with the weather and the beaches - my favourite being Three Cliff's Bay are out of this world. We came back looking like we had been abroad. The boys all needed a haircut and visited the one adjacent to the site and the fish and chip shop was great and we ate from there on two evenings. The owner could not have been more helpful with tips about where to go and how to save money. On the only day it rained we visited the Heritage Centre where the boys made pottery, entry can be with Tesco Clubcard vouchers. We will be contacting the owner to see if we can make a booking for next year. It is an outstandingly beautiful part of the country and our visit could not have been more comfortable. I am so pleased that by doing a random search I found Knab Rock. Thank you so much.

"Ideal holiday home and location. Great on-site facilities and close to great beaches"
We stayed here in the first week of July 2012 and myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage had everything we needed, the kids were delighted with the child-orientated toys and games on hand (even included a Wii), but better still, as we were having particularly rainy weather at that point, to be able to go swimming every day in the lovely clean pool, 40 seconds from the cottage, was just fantastic - not to mention the extended use of the hot tub! The staff running the holiday village, couldn't have been nicer and there was even a chip shop that sold Gluten Free fish and chips which absolutely made our week as they are very hard to come by!!. Scurlage is a great base for getting to the beautiful beaches at Llangenneth, Oxwich and Mumbles. Sandra, who owns this cottage, was friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure liaising with her. The only reason I don't give this an 'Excellent' is there is a bit of a problem with a build up of condensation in the main bedroom and in the wardrobe, but this did not detract from the overall stay and plan to book there again this summer. The kids absolutely loved it!
