Yes, I accept well behaved dogs. I have a dog so please be aware of this when booking as some people have allergies. I do have the carpetS cleaned twice a year.
I am sorry but, Bed linen, bath and hand towels are not included. Every bed does have duvets and pillows, but again no covers.
Benefits are :- 1 Double bedroom
2 Bedrooms with 2 single beds
1 Double shower room with toilet and basin
1 Second Toilet. Handy for families.
Electric fire in lounge. ( So if gas bottle runs out, you still have heating.)
Own parking area
This Park Resorts site is extreamly friendly with both people and animals. Park Resorts is the home of Sparkey and Crew, great entertaining for the kids and adults. If the mums and dads get bored with the kids entertainment you can pop in to the waterside bar for some quiet. Yes the waterside bar. It is next to the very clean and well looked after splash pool/baby pool and smaller outside pool with a water slide subject to the weather. The pool offers fun for the kids and adults. No jaquzzi though Ha!
The is a shop on site. Chip shop on site and launderette on site. There is also a burger bar accross the road along with a chinese takeaway. In the entertainment building they also have a pizza bar. There is a unsupervised play swing area, a football picth, mini golf and go carts, not forgetting the hire cart shop. There is so much to do in Great Yarmouth and Norfolk you will run out of time. There is also a bus stop just ooutside the park if your don't drive. Which brings me to the Great Yarmouth train station. It is only 10 minutes away in a taxi not sure how long on the bus. The Great Yarmouth famous dogs and horse race course is only 5 mins drive away. Fantastic evening out at the dogs. Pleasurewood Adventure Park is not to far away either, brilliant to get the kids and adults worn out. I can go on and on.
Entertainment passes are extra. £65.00 for the unit not by person. But, not everyone wants the passes. Therefore I have given the option for you to decide if you want them or not. Don't worry if you change you mind. The can still buy passes at the front desk whilst you are there.
Check in after 4pm check out by 10am.
Why not come along and see for yourselves.

About this location
The East Anglia region
Scratby is between Caister and Hemsby. Close to Great Yarmouth and Norfolk Broads. Fantastic days out all around. Hemsby have a beautiful beach with LIFE GUARD lots of exciting things to do for the kids great day out. Just past Hemsby you can go seal watching. they sun bath on the beach. Caister beach is the relaxing one. Fantastic food in the cafe (best gammon steak I have ever had). No Life guards here, just a good old fashioned inexpensive day at the beach. Then you have the Wild Life park in Filby approx 5 - 7 mins drive away. Not forgetting the Pleaseurewood Hills The Alton Towers of Great Yarmouth. Norfolk Broads is not to far away. Why not hire a boat for the day or just have a boat trip and enjoy. Fishing is also widely available (information on fisheries are in the loby) all information on all the activities and places to go and see are available in the reception area. Or you can stay indoors and let the kids go off by themselves and enjoy all the Sparky activities they do lots of fun things through out the season. Scraby beach is also just accross the road. Just a walk down the slop and the kids can have fun swimming, making sand castles flying kites simply playing kids games whilst you RELAX in doors or at the bar. There is so much to do I can write no stop. This year I am going a little past Hemsby to see the seals sun bathing on the beach. I have been told is is spectacular to see. I have been on this site now for 2 years and people say this is a windy part of the country, I can honestly say when we have been here we have a had better weather than Essex. Most of the time. It can be windy here but I would rather it windy than rain. Thank you for your interest. Have a great holiday.
Scratby. Great Yarmouth. An estimated driving time from Essex, somewehere near Chelmsford A12 to Scratby. Is approx 100 miles. It takes me just around 2 hours to drive. I do not follow the A12 to Lowerstoft / Great Yarmouth that way can take 2.5 hours due to traffic when you get near Lowerstoft and Great Yarmouth. I go towards Norfolk then follow signs to A40 to Great Yarmouth then you will see signs to Caister and Scratby that is the best way to go.
