The house is located in a quiet, country area, near the sea and near local village. The area is scenic and safe for kids.

The House is fully fitted to accommodate a large family. The countryside is splendid. Sailing is a major Sport in the area. The local village has many craft shops. There is 1 new Hotel in Schull town. There are several restaurants in the village. Day trips to the local islands are popular by the local ferryboat.
