A Stunning Boutique Apartment
Apartment | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
A beautiful spacious apartment in Scarborough which has been fully refurbished and lovingly restored.
Our philosophy is to provide a home from home which is both stylish and comfortable; a base from which to explore the many delights that Scarborough has to offer. And after a long walk or day trip out exploring the beautiful and historic Yorkshire coastline and countryside, to come back and relax in this wonderful space. Well-behaved teenagers and dogs welcome!
The large living room has 2 luxuriously deep sofas with a freeview Sony Bravia TV and Blue Ray/DVD player with a selection of classic and recent films to choose from. There's also a selection of board games. A stunning fireplace with a cast iron stove coal effect gas fire is a centre piece. The dining table comfortably seats 6 and can be extended to 8, should you have friends staying locally who you'd like to invite over for dinner. An iPod docking station ensures you're in charge of the sound track to your holiday. Unlimited WiFi throughout.
The kitchen has been equipped to accommodate most culinary needs, including a slow cooker and baking equipment should the mood strike.
We believe a good night's sleep is a key part of a great break away and have equipped all the beds with quality firm memory foam topped mattresses, snuggledown duvets, pillows and high end bed linen.
The Master King bedroom is en-suite with a large 1m2 shower to enjoy the constant hot running water in. The 2nd bedroom is also King sized, and the 3rd a has a double and a single. All 3 bedrooms offer plenty of space and show off the beautifully restored oak beams.
The large bathroom includes a gloriously deep 1800mm bath and spacious 1.6 x 8m shower.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor with it's own private entrance and an intercom door buzzer. It's a 10 min walk from the station, or there's on street parking outside. Free parking permits are provided.
Being just 3 mins from the Esplanade, the apartment is ideally located for the south bay and Spa complex. It's also a 2 min walk from one of our historic cliff lifts that takes you direct to the Spa and the south bay beach. Local shops are a 5 min walk.
Teenagers are welcome and the roomy bedrooms give them their own space to chill in if they choose, however the apartment is not suitable for young children. As dog lovers we will welcome 1 well behaved dog - please speak to the owner to arrange this.

Northern England region
Yorkshire is the biggest county in England and is rich with history and natural beauty. Scarborough Castle dates back 3000 years and is a fascinating site to visit with stunning panoramic views.
Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Goathland and many more towns and villages are within easy access of Scarborough.
DiscoverYorkshireCoast.com is a great website for inspiration on where to go and what to see.
Situated on the north east coast of Yorkshire, Scarborough is a beautiful sea-side town with two expansive beaches. The apartment is a 5 min walk from the south-side beach and 2 mins to the Esplanade which offers stunning views over the South Bay and to the Castle.
Scarborough is a wonderful location for walkers, sitting on the Cleveland way. Whether along the coastline, or inland to explore the glorious woodlands, rivers or moorland, there is ample nature to explore.
The surfing community has grown enormously over recent years, with an annual surfing competition. Even in the height of winter the hardy surfers (in dry suits!) brave the elements to catch the waves. Even if you are not one to go into the water, watching the crashing waves of a rough sea at high tide is always a thrill.
There are plenty of entertainment options with the Open Air Theatre attracting big names for live concerts, The Spa offering an array of comedy, concerts & exhibitions. Alan Ayckbourn always premiers his plays at The Stephen Joseph Theatre in the round, and there are 2 cinemas showing latest releases.
For foodies there are plenty of restaurants options and lots of wonderful local produce available if you prefer to cook at home. Being a fishing port of course the fresh fish options are always good. We provide a full list of recommendations at the apartment.

"The photos look lovely but do not do justice to this wonderful appartment"
This wonderful apartment has obviously been finished with a great deal of thought and not a little love. With its great sense of space my teenage family was never on top of me and this apartment was, for Scarborough veterans, simply the best we have ever encountered. The furnishings are all high end and well thought out with every eventuality thought through including the very much appreciated welcome of a new jar of milk, coffee, teabags and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge. Dealing with the owners was as much of a joy as opening the front door of the apartment.
Do not miss out on the opportunity to stay in this wonderful apartment!!!!

"Very clean, spacious and nicely decorated, ideal for a family stay"
We would highly recommend this apartment. Very clean when we arrived, plenty of space and very highly equipped. Would suit a family (of older children) or two or three couples. Everything was ready for us when we arrived including a small welcome pack. The apartment is only a couple of minutes from the cliff lift at the spa and then a walk along the front to the main promenade, or alternatively about a ten or fifteen minutes walk along the bridge to the middle of the town. Being able to take our dog with us was a great benefit - he loved it.

"Such a wonderful apartment to stay with friends; spacious & comfortable"
Arrived with friends on a Friday evening & entered a clean, spacious & comfortably furnished apartment. Everything seemed brand new & worked perfectly. Loads of storage space for food/drinks and clothes including wet weather gear. If fact it was such a lovely late autumn weekend in Scarborough that we didn't need the extra rain gear. Wonderfully located within 5 minutes of the sea front and only a short walk across the sands to the Scarborough vacation amenities (pubs, restuarants, cafes & shops). Wifi was a blessing in the apartment & satisfied workaholics, internet browsers and gamers alike! Plenty of space to use as a working retreat too for up to 4 people. Hadn't been to Scarborough before and I was smitten (of course the glorious weather helped...)

I had the good fortune to spend New Year at this apartment and had the most amazing time. Exquisitely appointed, this spacious apartment is centrally located and large enough to comfortably house the 6 adults who made up the New Year party. I travelled there by train and it's either a brisk walk or a short taxi ride away. Set just one block back from the sea front, there are views of the sea to be had from some of the windows. Scarborough is a beautiful place to go and having somewhere nice to stay is the icing on the cake. I loved it!
