Oak Cottage is a two storey barn conversion located at Thirley Cotes Farm in Harwood Dale. The cottage was lovingly converted in May 2012, and has maintained much of its original beauty, with stone walls and features. Oak Cottage is spacious and great for a family or group of friends get together. All the cottages have underfloor heating. There is a sofa bed in the Lounge Area, allowing for up to 6 guests in the cottage. Travel Cots are provided free of charge for our younger guests.
Woodland Cottages is perfect for those keen for the outdoors, with cycling and walking tracks on the doorstep. We provide a Shared Hot Tub, Games Room and Play Area, not forgetting the delightful private 4 acre woodland. Ipod Docking Stations and Blu Ray DVD player.

Woodland Cottages is located at Thirley Cotes Farm, just outside the village of Harwood Dale, in the North York Moors National Park. If you are looking for an escape to peace and tranquility, then this is an ideal location. Set within 17 acres, Woodland Cottages is surrounded by Woodland with some fantastic walks available on the doorstep. Nature and wildlife is in abundance, with nesting Barn Owls and deer within the 4 acre private woodland.
You do not have far to travel to explore the history of the little fishing villages, as in 15 minutes you can be in the quaint villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby, with the historic Whitby Abbey.
For the more active guests, we have Wykeham Lake for Watersports and why not 'Go Ape' in Dalby Forest, only a 20 minute drive away.
Set in a Rural location it is advisable to travel by car, as we do not have a local bus service.
