7 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY

A beautiful sea-view flat, minutes from the beach, available for weekly lets (Saturday to Saturday) over the summer. Sorry, we cannot do short breaks unless you are prepared to pay for the full week.

The flat is situated a few minutes walk from the sandy South Bay beach with fishing boats, a light house and donkey rides for the kids.

Full-size kitchen, easily big enough to cook a family dinner.

Modern comfortable interior, fully equipped kitchen.
Newly re-furbished to a high standard throughout.
Sleeps up to 4 people. Double bed in the bedroom.
Lovely brand new leather sofa-bed in living room.
Living room has adjoining kitchen diner area.
TV, Freeview, DVD.

The apartment is centrally located an easy 5 min walk from train station. You walk along the pedestrianised town centre precinct, so no problem even with toddlers. We're very near Marks and Spencer's with its large selection of food, and there are lots of pubs and restaurants in the area to choose from.

The sandy south bay beach is a 3 min walk, castle 10 mins, lovely north bay beach 15 mins. The beautiful peasholm park is about 20 mins walk, at the other end of North Bay there's the 'Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary' which is great for kids. This can be reached using the North Bay miniature railway.

Travel cot available - please bring your own bedding for this. There's plenty of room for the travel cot in the bedroom.

Sorry, no smoking and no pets.

The flat is situated on the third floor with stair access only, so it may not be suitable for some people with a disability.

Scarborough Castle - a ten minute walk from the apartment.

With its 2,500 year history, stunning location and panoramic views over the dramatic Yorkshire coastline, Scarborough Castle fully deserves its place as one of the finest tourist attractions in the North. It started life as an Iron Age Fort, was occupied by the Romans, became a Viking settlement and reached its heyday under Henry II.

“Great flat and great location to explore the east coast of Yorkshire from!” The flat was clean, comfortable and had all the mod cons. It was a great location near South Bay and the town centre. Also a great location to explore north east Yorkshire from.

“Cosy flat and great location” A well recommended stay. The owner responds fast and is very helpful. The flat itself was cosy and welcoming. The location is great - very close to the beach, beach activities and the local high street. A walk along the Scarborough promenade is well recommended.

“Amazing Apartment!” We are just back from a week stay at this apartment. It was wonderful we had such a great time. The apartment was perfect and we will definately be back. Very comfortable and decorated well. :)

“Lovely Apartment, Value for Money & Great Owner.” We spent a week at the Apartment mid September and loved it. The rooms were clean, spacious and great for hanging around in if the weather isn't great or you fancy a lazy day. Based very close to the town centre making it a fab location for shopping, dining or getting to the station, but a little noisy on weekend nights. The Apartment is 3 floors up meaning lots of stairs but definitely worth it - and we're probably a little fitter for it! We had a little problem with the plumbing but after contacting the owner we were dealt with a.s.a.p. £50 cleaning deposit was returned swiftly after the holiday. Thank You :)

“WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN SCARBOROUGH” We stayed in this apartment in September and what a great place to stay. The apartment is freshly decorated and everything in there is new. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, and there is plenty of storage space. The bathroom is fresh and clean. The kitchen has everything you need and is a good size. The living room has a very comfy sofa, a good television, a homley fire and a great view of the morning sunrise over the sea. I would highly recommend this apartment for your holiday. You do not need your car as it is close to all the shops and close to the beach. “Perfect apartment for our needs” We stayed in the apartment for a week while we were looking at property in Scarborough. It was absolutely perfect for our needs being central - within easy walking distance of all the attractions and the beach. Also very handy for shops and restaurants. The apartment was really comfortable and just as nice as it appears in the photos, with lots of nice touches. Great kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bed. The apartment was warm and we could adjust the heating when we needed to with the wall thermostat. Being in the centre of town, there was some street noise at the weekend, but the rest of the week was quiet and I slept well each night. Parking is difficult everywhere in Scarborough but I was able to find a street 15 minutes walk away with unrestricted parking (ask the owner for this) for the days I didn't need to use the car. There are also carparks nearby which charge £6.00 for 24 hrs. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment and would definitely stay there again.

“A beautiful apartment, perfect for young couples and families wanting to explore Scarborough's famous coastline!” As soon as we arrived, we were amazed with the apartment. Very tastefully decorated, with a comfortable settee and large flat-screen TV, it was the perfect place to spend a week away. The bathroom was large and spacious, and the bedroom had lots of storage space. A minute's walk from the town centre, with an M&S and a Tesco Express a short walk away, it was great for those who don't have a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and didn't want to leave. We would highly recommend it, and hope to return because we had such a lovely week. “Perfect for shopping!” I rented this apartment end June/beg. July 12 for 2 weeks. I hadn't stayed in this part of Scarborough before, but I wanted somewhere near shops/restaurants and as near the railway station as poss as i didn't want to drive (parking is expensive so it pays to take the train). I loved the apartment, it is finished to a good standard and had everything i needed, with a large TV on the wall with freeview and DVD player for relaxing. Also a good sized bedroom with a comfy bed. The kitchen is easily big enough for cooking family meals if you wish. The location was perfect for me, right in the middle of the shops, bars and restaurants (note: this does mean you get some street noise in the flat during the day and evening, but it didn't cause me a problem). There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so don't consider this if you have trouble with stairs. There are lots of things to see and do in Scarborough and I shall definately be going back to see bits I missed and things I would want to see again and when I do I will hopefully stay in this same apartment.
