Ravenscar is a village on the 'Dinosaur Coast' lying between Scarborough and Whitby.
Originally known as 'Peak' it is known as the unfinished town or the town that never was.
Within easy reach of Robin Hoods Bay.
Follow the cycle tracks to Scarborough or Robin Hood's Bay.
Also in the area are:
Dalby Forest - ideal for cyclists, picnics, barbecues. Also within the forest are children's play areas and 'Go Ape'.
We are situated on the Cleveland Way with it's beautiful cliff walks.
Scarborough Castle and Whitby Abbey.
Sandsend provides a quieter seaside experience both for adults and children and don't forget Filey with its golden beach and Cobble Landing.
Thornton le Dale is situated on the Pickering road but can also be reached via a leisurely drive through Dalby Forest (A toll of £7 is charged).
