About the home

The holiday home is actually the 100 square meter attic of our 200 year old watermill.
We have just finished the renovations in May 2010!!!
It is fully furnished to a high standard.

When you rent our home, you will have the whole front garden to enjoy. It includes a trampoline, a flying fox (zip line), a swing set with small slide, a petanque pitch with the equipment and a small pool for kids to enjoy.

The river passes onto our property and there is also a pond at the back of the house.

The Burgundy / Saone-et-Loire region

There is so much to see and do in the area you will find it difficult to decide what not to include. Day trips include Lyon, Dijon, Geneva, Beaune and many many historical and charming towns and villages. (Not to mention the vinyards and culinary delights to be found.)

The Savigny-en-Revermont area

Just about 15 minutes away is the very interesting "Louhans Market" which happens every Monday morning.

At just 30 minutes away are two wonderful towns: Baumes-les-Messieurs and Chateau Chalon well known for it's wine.

Dijon is about 50 minutes away while Lyon and besancon are 1 hour and 15 minutes away each.

From exit 8 off the A39 at Lons le Saunier/Louhans. From here it is less than 10 minutes to the house. Turn west off the exit and loop around back under the A 39 half a kilometer to the south then follow the road to Savigny-en-Revermont and on to Les Gobards.

The entrance to the Moulin is down a small lane between two houses, there is a red gate at the entrance but you can not see it from the road.
