This old barn was renovated in 2007 into a pleasant and charming property. It has all the modern comforts while retaining its authenticity. La Grange is located in the south of LOT in the vineyard of Cahors.

The area is very nice to discover on foot, by bike, on horseback or by car.

The Midi-Pyrenees region

The Lot is a department of the South -West of France , located in the Midi -Pyrénées region takes its name from the river Lot .

Lot lives for most of the tourist activity. Caves and sinkholes are numerous, often containing cave paintings . We find for example the Pech Merle Cave in Cabrerets and Padirac ( 400,000 visitors per year) .

The southwestern department ( the Lot Valley ) is one of the oldest wine regions of France . Cahors wines are known worldwide .

Autoire , Loubressac, Saint -Cirq- Lapopie and Carennac were classified among the most beautiful villages of France . Rocamadour ( 1 million visitors ) is the second most visited province after Mont Saint- Michel , which is the third most visited site in France after the Eiffel Tower and Castle Versailles3 site.

Established in 1999, the Regional Natural Park of Causses of Quercy ( 175,717 hectares : 26,000 inhabitants) helps preserve the local heritage. Local flora and European wildlife are presented in Animal Park Gramat . With its night sky free of light pollution, the famous black triangle du Quercy is a particularly special place observation that welcomes recent years an increasing astronomical tourism.

Figeac hosts the Champollion museum and a giant reproduction of the Rosetta Stone, deciphered by this native son, one of the founders of modern Egyptology and Souillac, the Musee de l'Automate and Robotics .


CAHORS and the Lot valley and the vineyards

Cahors ( Occitan Caors ) is a town in the south of France , located in the southwest quarter of the country. Contained in a meander of the Lot, dominated by rocky hills, this Gallo-Roman town preserves intact traces of its rich history, majestic monuments, the most famous is the bridge Valentré.
