Sauze d'Oulx is situated in Vialattea , a very famous skiing resort which includes 5 villages: Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere and the french Montgenèvre. It has hosted the Freestyle competions of the 2006 Winter Olympics
This winter resort offer 140 ski slopes, on a surface of 400 Km and 92 lifts from 1350 to 2800 meters.
The sport facilities of Sauze d'Oulx, start at 1509 meters and offers many lifts : 11 chair-lifts and 11 ski-lifts, for downhill.
Sauze d'Oulx / Richardette area
With great scenery, fantastic skiing and a lively après ski, a Sauze D'Oulx skiing holiday offers great value all round. Located close to the French border, the resort has impressive mountainous views and looks across to the Valle di Susa.
Sauze d'Oulx is a mixture of old and new. In the town centre you will find charming narrow streets, full of boutiques selling everything from chic leather goods to fresh pasta. There are pizzerias and restaurants abound, serving delicious local food and catering for all tastes and budgets. There is no shortage of après ski and the resort's nightlife is lively, particularly at weekends.
Much of Sauze d'Oulx skiing is above the tree line ensuring reasonably reliable snow. Sauze d'Oulx offers pretty wooded trails so skiing is good in weather conditions.
Skiing in Sauze d'Oulx is vast and provides something for all levels. The local slopes are spread across the resort with chair lifts to the top of the village "Clotes" and west to the mid mountain clearing of "Sportinia". For those wanting to go further afield, you can easily travel around the huge Milky Way ski circuit, which links Sauze d'Oulx to Claviere, Cesana, Sansicario and Sestriere.
Beginners: beginners can start on the nursery slopes in the village or go up the mountain to Sportinia, where a number of bars and cafes are strategically positioned for those who need a quick reviver or even some Dutch courage. Intermediates: Sauze d'Oulx is ideal for intermediates who will be spoilt for choice when travelling around the Milky Way ski circuit. Advanced: Advanced skiers can take advantage of the numerous off piste opportunities, particularly the 1300m descent from Fraiteve or Moncrons, to the little villages on the valley floor. Snowboarders: Sauze d'Oulx has some good snowboarding slopes with tree lines slopes to snake through. Also, for those looking for a challenge, be sure check out the black runs at Borgata and Sestriere.
Fly to Turin - Chalet Bellevue is just 95 km from the airport. Cheap flights available from Ryanair, Easyjet from Stansted and Luton . Car hire available from Hertz (from ryanair website it is cheaper and does not require to fly with thme)

Conditions
A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats. Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. Refundable breakages deposit of 1000 EUR required on arrival, to be refunded on departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 50% of rental fee due on reservation to secure booking.
