About the home

The apartment is located in a three storey house on a small hill very near the old town centre of Sauze and the skilifts. There are three bedrooms of which one is a large double bedroom, the other two are fitted with one bunk bed each. There is a sofa bed for two in the spacious leaving room. Two bathrooms both with bathtub. All rooms have wide windows with views over the mountains and the valley. There is also a terrace and a garden again with fantastic views.

Sauze D'Oulx is situated on a sunny, west facing plateau. The ideal place for a wonderful winter holiday. Its skiing is extensive and will appeal to all grades of skier. The lift pass is valid for some 400kms of donwhill skiing slopes in Sauze, Sportinia, Claviere, Setriere, Borgata and Sansicario. Sauze D'Oulx is about 85 km from Turin airport. Sauze d'Oulx hosted te 2006 Torino/XX Olympic Winter Games in 2006.

It's a charming, picturesque old village centre and cheerful Italian informality make it a pleasure to visit. Consequently Sauze is not only a favourite destination for British skiers but also much loved by Italians themselves, making it a lively, fashionable resort. Sports: Ski resort location, Tennis in Town. Great for: Walking holidays, a winter sun break, good nightlife, Cycling holiday.

“Lovely.cosy traditional style italian alpian appartment” Booked this place first week of march '12 .delighted with appartment traditionally decorated good proportions .one large double room .2 small bunkbed rooms one main bathroom and another halfsize bathroom no hook for showerhead or curtain .small kitchen no microwave or kettle but absolutely everything else and a lovely dining area we only ate in once.would recommend this place fir family as for 6 adults 2 bathrooms still wasnt enough .location was great its easily walkable to lift although we used to drive and pay the 4.50 parking charge.the complex has garage parking.saux d'loux is the most assessible ski resort in italy an hour 20mins from turin we experienced no travel delays.had to pay toll charges and expensive petrol.resort is a little underdeveloped and not very lively when we where there but there was no ques for lifts and conditions where good .have no hessitation in recommending appartment and host who was lovely in our dealings with.
