This 18th century farmhouse has just been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. This Bearnaise property retains its original charm with exposed oak beams, riverstone walls and flagstone floors. The 5 bedrooms are large spacious and full of character. The kitchen is huge with pine work surfaces and all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury kitchen. There is a large lounge which features sumptuous leather sofas, sky TV, DVD, entertainment and large log burner. The dining room can easily accommodate 12 around the great Basque oak table, and their is a logburning stove fireplace for those winter evenings. The large bathrooms feature fantastic rolltop bath tubs and showers. Also there is a swimming pool which is set in well maintained walled grounds.

This property is great for summer vacations and winter sking holidays. In the summer you can visit the nearby historic villages, play a round of golf or pass your time soaking up the sun by the sea in the cosmopolitan coastal town of Biarritz. Nearby you can also enjoy white water rafting, pony treks, fishing or just enjoy a walk in the beautiful countryside. In the winter you can visit the nearby ski resort of Pierre St. Martin, and enjoy the fabulous skiing conditions found in the pyrenees.

A perfect holiday for friends and families alike whether you want to enjoy the activities or just relax in your idylic surroundings. Other services such as babysitters and airport transfers can be arranged to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

A fantastic family home equipped with everything we could possibly need for our holiday, we have tried it for ski-ing and intend to go again and try the summer sun and pool. Alison and Nick wright, Worcestershire.

The peace and traquility here are to die for, we loved every moment of our stay. We have been to the area several times but never stayed in such a luxurious house, we will be back! John and Eve Uphoff, West Midlands.

To be able to ski one day and then visit Biarritz the next is really quite special, this really is a mountains to coast location offering the best of both worlds, team this with the wonderful accommodation and we really have no need to look any futher. Rachel and Russell Randle.
