Situated at the head of a pretty wooded glen, on the fringes of the seaside village of Saundersfoot is this charming, detached period property just three miles from the popular resort of Tenby. Located just 200 metres from the local beach, this cosy cottage has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard, offering visitors a spacious sitting room, a lovely dining room featuring the original bread oven and four light, airy bedrooms.

The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Pembrokeshire region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers. Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.


Saundersfoot area

Idyllically situated at the foot of a picturesque, wooded valley on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast is the bustling fishing village of Saundersfoot, just three miles from Tenby. This popular village offers an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst at the attractive harbour visitors can enjoy a number of water sports and fishing facilities. The village also boasts stunning, sandy beaches that are ideal for swimming. For those who prefer activities on dry land the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path commences at nearby Amroth and is very popular amongst walkers visiting the area. The resort town of Tenby is close by and boasts ancient walls, more award winning beaches and fascinating boat trips to the monastic Island of Caldey. The exciting attraction of Folly Farm is within driving distance too and offers an amazing vintage funfair. For those seeking modern thrills and spills Oakwood Theme Park is also close by.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The location was perfect for access to beach and all the many activities available in the area. Local information about activities and how to get involved is superb and easy to get hold of as was the level of instruction and friendliness of all the people we met. The house was particularly well equipped, was very clean, in a quiet area, and the enclosed private garden was ideal for our family to extend the days playing/eating outside etc.
