Apartment | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
A perfect base for the ideal holiday in Saundersfoot. Pembrokeshire was voted the second best coastal destination IN THE WORLD by the writers of National Geographic in 2010. The apartment is well furnished and equipped and in a quiet location yet its only a couple of minutes downhill to either the centre of the village with its shops and restaurants and the magnificent town beach or the quieter Glen Beach. You also have the advantage of an allocated parking space.
This guest comment from 2012 sums up what many say ""Have been coming to Saundersfoot for 30 years. This is the best place we have ever stayed in."
The award winning St Bride's Spa Hotel is just moments away so you can treat yourself to the meals and spa treatments there at a fraction of the cost of staying there and you get to enjoy the same wonderful views.
Its easy to get to all that Pembrokeshire has to offer including family attractions such as Folly Farm, Heatherton - world of adventure, Oakwood Theme Park and Manor House Wildlife Park,
Towns such as Tenby, Narberth with its excellent independent shops and St Davids with its magnificent cathedral

"The perfect getaway"
My partner and I have stayed at Mussell Reach a few times now and it seems selfish to keep this little gem to ourselves any longer…..so here is my review.
From the moment you walk through the door, it is clear that the owners have put a great deal of thought into creating a comfortable 'home from home' holiday retreat. Situated on the first floor in a small block of flats, Mussell Reach is a cosy and extremely well appointed apartment with splendid views of the town, sea and harbour from the lounge/diner (or balcony on a warm sunny day). A short walk into town is all it takes to stock up on those essential supplies – meat from the butcher, bread from the baker, groceries from two small supermarkets and for that essential holiday treat, fish and chips from the splendid Mermaid and/or Marina.
If you can tear yourself away from the comfort of the apartment, the attractive walled town of Tenby with its 21/2 miles of sandy beaches is only a couple of miles away by car or bus or a little further on foot via the coastal path. If you want to venture further, then Mussell Reach provides the perfect base from which to explore the glorious Pembrokeshire coastline – from the surfing beaches of Newgale and Whitesands to the secluded coves, ancient castles and amazing wildlife of the only coastal National Park in the UK - there is something for everyone.
The secret is out…………………………

"The view alone makes it a five"
Having stayed in Saundersfoot in 2011 in the owners other property which we enjoyed, we thought we would like to stay in Mussel Reach. We were not disappointed. It is tucked away at the back of a hotel and you have your own parking space. When you walk into the apartment your breath is taken away by the stunning views over the harbour. The apartment is very well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. You get a good workout walking into the town.....The balcony is great for sitting out and having breakfast or a drink in the evening enjoying the views. Saundersfoot is a lovely little town not a huge variety of eating places but it's not far from Tenby and other places. There are great walks along the coast and there are some fabulous castles to visit. There is now a small Tesco at the bottom of the hill which was useful. We have booked to go again this September we enjoyed it so much. The owners are very easy to deal with and eager to please.
