A delightful apartment annexed to the main house with a distant sea view through well-maintained large gardens and has central heating. It is in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park close to beaches and convenient for many attractions.

The property can be let as either as a two bedroom apartment for up to 4 guests or with three bedrooms for up to 6 guests. There are separate prices for the two options shown.

The apartment is about three quarters of a mile from the Saundersfoot village centre/ harbour and main beach, so it is convenient to walk or drive but there is also a regular bus service to the village, Tenby and other larger towns which passes right by the property and buses will stop on request. Whilst being convenient for the village it benefits from being without the hubbub of the village centre especially in the late evening.

Alternatively there is an off-road walk down to the Glen beach via a footpath through woodlands.

From the window of the apartment you can see my chicken run at the bottom of the garden and I can usually offer you the chance to buy half a dozen lovely fresh free range eggs from chickens you can actually see.

The apartment is suitable for up to six people and has a bathroom with WC, handbasin, bath and separate shower, both family bedrooms also have handbasins and one has TV which is connected to SKY in the main house.(only when booked for six people). There is also a smaller single bedroom suitable for either a child or adult.

The main living accommodation is a combined lounge/diner and kitchen area which is well-equipped with fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, gas cooker and other small appliances.

There is a Freeview TV with combined DVD/CD player and some CDs, DVDs, books and games are provided.

Off road parking is available for up to two cars.

Sun loungers/chairs for use on the property or to take to the beach are available if required and a barbecue is also available although this must be cleaned after use.

Linen (duvet covers, pillow cases and bottom sheets) are provided if required. Towels can be provided for a nominal additional cost.

An external washing line is available and use of a washing machine can be arranged by agreement in dry weather only as internal drying facilities are not available.

One dog is allowed with prior notification. Please note that no smoking is allowed in the apartment.

The apartment is on the route of the Ironman race.

There are two family rooms with double beds and a good quality foldaway bed available in each. There is also a separate small single bedroom. We can supply a cot if given advance notice and if you do need to fit in another person there is a further fold up bed available but this would have to be set up in the lounge or hallway.

From 2013 there is an optional additional double bedroom which can be made available at extra cost.

Further details outdoors

We can supply adult bicycles if required but these are hired out without any liability for accidents and a deposit will be required in case of damage. Please notify us in advance if these are likely to be required. There is a level one mile route to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path along a quiet road and there is also access to a very nice beach from there but it is accessed from a quite steep path and would not be suitable for elderly, unfit or disabled people.

The main Saundersfoot beaches are about 1 mile away and it is all downhill from the property to get there. That being the case it is all uphill and a challenging ride to get back!!

Tenby town centre is about 2.5 miles away with some hills on the way back but not too steep if the right route is taken.

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

The apartment is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with some of the most beautiful beaches in the United Kingdom. It is a wonderful area for sailing, walking, cycling, swimming and general entertainment. There are a number of good quality attractions such as Bluestone, Oakwood, Folly Farm etc. and good night life in the surrounding area.

Out of season activities include the Tenby IronMan endurance race in September and the Boxing Day and New Year's day swims but there is always plenty to do.

Saundersfoot

There is a good Londis shop within 1/4 mile, restaurant/pub within 200 yards and the village has a choice of shops, restaurants, cafes and a harbour.

"A very pleasant 5 day stay"

The property is clean & tidy & perfectly adequate for 4 persons. You don't spend much time there so its great. The landlord is very friendly & its a short walk to the center of town & Tenby is within walking distance. There are is a good selection of eateries within stagering distance too :)
