Golwg-Y-Mor, Welsh for 'The view of the sea', is a ground floor apartment which is great for families with children back and forth the beach, as well as for those with mobility issues. The apartment sleeps 4/5 plus a baby.
The main living area has patio doors that open to the sea view. This area serves as a kitchen, dining and seating area. It is decorated in a sea mist colour with duck egg accessories. The living area has two brown leather sofas, a 36” flat screen TV with freeview and a DVD player (which also plays CDs). The dining table seats six people comfortably.
The kitchen is a cream shaker style L shaped kitchen which comes fully equipped. The main appliances comprise of an electric cooker with hob and extractor fan, washing machine, fridge with a small inbuilt freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. There is no microwave at the property.
The main bedroom is decorated in a contemporary boutique hotel style. It has a double bed, bedside tables, a tallboy set of drawers and good wardrobe space for all visitors. The hallway area doubles up as a further sleeping area with full size bunk beds and the option of a third pull out bed. All bed linen, duvets and pillows are included in the tariff. (Guests will need to bring their own towels). Travel cot and a seat mounted high chair are available on request.
The shower room is compact, with white wall tiles and slate grey high gloss floor tiles. It contains an enclosed shower, WC and wash hand basin.
The property also has the added benefit of private parking for one vehicle - something of a premium for the area
There is a small private garden which leads to direct beach access. Please note the gate is locked during the winter months due to high tides. Access can still be obtained to the beach however via public entrance approx 100ms away.

The Pembrokeshire region
Saundersfoot is located within the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park, Britain's only coastal national park. There are a wealth of coastal walks and stunning beaches to choose from. Nearby towns include Tenby (10 mins away), Narbeth, St David's and Carmarthen. Places of interest include Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Bluestone Holiday Village, St David's cathedral, Pembroke Castle, Anna Ryder Richardson's Welsh Zoo and many more. The coastal path runs alongside the apartment with Wiseman Bridge to one side and Tenby to the other.
Saundersfoot is a thriving coastal village with plenty to do for all ages. The main harbour offers fishing trips and is a lovely place to walk day or night. The Blue Flag sandy beach has a variety of watersports available. The centre contains a wide variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. There is also a local park, tennis courts and a bowling green. The 5 star St Bride's hotel Saundersfoot offers spa facilities and treatments.
Saundersfoot is an ideal holiday location for people of all ages and is an excellent base from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coast.

"Very good value for money"

I am please to read that you found the apartment spotlessly clean as we take great pride in the cleanliness of the property. I am also glad that the issues you raise did not effect the enjoyment of your stay as I note the positive comments you left in our visitors book.
The gate to the beach is closed and locked over the winter months to prevent high tide and bad weather flooding the grounds of the block of apartments. Access to the beach during these months is less than 100 metres from the apartment.
I can assure you that the apartment was cleaned and the bedding changed less than a week prior to your stay. We had guests the previous weekend and the apartment is always cleaned in the week prior to a booking. We will however look into the issue of the musty smell that you raise. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

"Happy New Year"
I stayed in this lovely flat for a family New Year. Its sea view provided the backdrop for a living space that was cosy, spotlessly clean and welcoming with the added Christmas touches of a decorated tree. During my stay friends and family visited and all agreed that Golwg-Y-Mor is a 'great place' and overnight the bunk beds ably accommodated adults.
I look forward to a return visit!

"Great apartment in fantastic location"
The apartment was very clean and the decor was exactly as shown on the website. I had a couple of queries prior to the holiday which were answered very promptly by the owner.
The location was perfect for us. Being right on the beach meant that we could nip in and out without the need to load-up the car or pack lots of bags. Although the views may have been better from the apartments on higher levels, I'm glad that we chose to stay on the ground floor as we didn't have to carry bags up and down stairs - it was also much easier with children.
My favourite thing was being able to hear the waves, when the tide was in. Lovely!

"first class property in a first class location. superb."
All i can say is this is a fantastic appartment set footsteps away from the beach and still within walking distance of Saundersfoot town with all of the pubs shops restaurants etc. Thank you

"Great location, lovely flat - perfect for family"
We had a lovely holiday here. Right on the beach and with parking which is handy. The flat is well appointed, clean and great if you have 3 young children like us as they have a triple bunk bed as well as a double bed. Would recommend.
