Admiral's House
About the home
The House was built from local natural stone as a training base for the troops of George V in the late nineteenth century. Lovingly transformed into a modern five star self catering resort it has retained the original vaulted ceilings. This coupled with soft leather suites and contemporary décor, gives it a distinctly smart penthouse feel. It is fully equipped to the highest standards with seven bedrooms and five bath/shower rooms offering accommodation for up to fourteen guests.
Set in a private enclave and complemented with five mews properties, Admiral's House has a spacious dining area with large table, fully equipped fitted kitchen and utility room including dishwasher and washer/dryer. The indoor heated swimming pool with water jet system is superbly appointed with windows to front and side enjoying amazing views across the bay and harbour. The first floor sea facing lounge is a gem with SKY TV, DVD, Playstation, Free WiFi, IPOD Docking Station and large sash windows with spectacular views of the harbour, coastline and beach. French doors open onto the terrace offering breathtaking panoramic sea views, al fresco dining and the chance for private relaxation at its best.

Enquire nowThe West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Pembrokeshire region
Pembrokeshire is Britain's only truly coastal National Park. It's a spectacular landscape of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, wooded estuaries and wild inland hills, and a place of sanctuary for wildlife.
People belong here, too. They have shaped the landscape over the centuries, leaving their mark in tombs and castles, crosses and cottages, quarries and quays.
Today this is a living, working landscape where people and nature co-exist. The National Park Authority looks after it, helps the public to enjoy and understand it, and works with local communities towards a sustainable future.
Pembrokeshire has a host of attractions for the visitor, starting with the many historical sites to theme parks, places of outstanding natural beauty and some of the best beaches in Britain. There is plenty to do in Pembrokeshire - Golfing, Fishing, Walking, Horse Riding, Carting, the list is endless The beautiful scenery of Pembrokeshire has inspired artists and craftsmen through centuries, and their modern day counterparts have not forgotten the old skills. You can see many craftsmen or women at work in their workshops or find their products in local galleries and gift shops.
The Saundersfoot area
Saundersfoot is a small seaside resort in between Tenby and Amroth. It's much more compact than Tenby and has a charm and character of its own. In many respects Saundersfoot is a much more accessible seaside resort: Saundersfoot beach is wide, sandy and has a blue flag. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around the harbour and there's ample parking near the beach both on the harbour side and in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park run car park behind the shops. Saundersfoot was designated as a conservation area by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 1995.
Saundersfoot harbour was originally built to transport coal from mines in and around Stepaside. Nothing remains of the mines but the route of the tramway that was built to bring the coal to Saundersfoot harbour has created one of the most fascinating sections of The Coast Path. Walking east from Saundersfoot harbour you first come to the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in a building called The Barbeque. This was once Bonville's Court Colliery Office. Continue east along The Strand towards Coppet Hall beach, which is reached via a short tunnel. On the far side of Coppet Hall beach are two further tunnels and a wide flat path that is perfect for pushchairs and wheelchairs. This takes you to Wiseman's Bridge. If you want to continue along the old dramway it will head inland through the woods to Stepaside where the remains of the old ironworks can be explored. It's recently been resurfaced and is ideal for cycles or walking.
