The Sardinia region
Sardinia is the Island of the sun and beach. The tipycal summer season is from June till September, but we have mild temperatures all the year round. The Autumn and winter is ideal for visit the region, the city and the historical sites.
Sassari is a great point to visit the North Sardinia. Sassari area
The town of Sassari is an ancient town. The city has had a profound restructuring that has made much more beautiful. Already today were completed work on the main squares, Piazza Italy, Piazza Tola, Piazza River. Sassari city increasingly beautiful and welcoming.
In May it's worth visiting the town for The Cavalcata Sarda, a fascinating exhibition of Sardinian costumes, an amazing display of colours, a parade which gathers thousands of people of all ages in their traditional costumes from all over the island. The edition of 23 May 1999 will celebrate the centenary of the Cavalcata organized in 1899, in honour of King Umberto I and Queen Margherita on an official visit in Sardinia.
Another important event comes alive in Sassari on August 14th every year, with an incredible parade through the town. I Candelieri (The Candlesticks) sees local resident wearing traditional costumes carrying giant wooden candlesticks through the town, in order to celebrate and give thanks for the town’s deliverance from the plague in 1652. The party often spills into the next day, August 15th, as the locals also celebrate the Feast of the Assumption

It has a living room with a dining area and a kitchenette, 2 bedroom with the possibility to have 2 single beds or 2 double, bathroom with shower, parking space. It's only 10 minute driving form the beauful sea of Platamona the seaside of Sassari. The Medieval town of Castelsardo is just 40 min driving. A nice accommodation for people seeking quite and relax and wanting to move every day to a new destination at a good value for money. The house has easy access to all amenities, including supermarket and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
