Rochefort en Terre. 45 km. One of the most delightful villages in Brittany with every available stone surface, from the window ledges to the picturesque wishing well, adorned with colourful flowers. The village narrow cobbled streets with a variety of crafts workshops lead up to the medieval castle which is open for guided visits. Josselin. 70 km. Lovely medieval town on the banks of the tranquil River Oust. The town is overlooked by a magnificent castle, still inhabited but open to the public. The castle also hosts an interesting Doll museum.
