About the home

Hydra is a relatively small island situated at an hour and 45minutes from the Athenian port of Piraeus. The island boasts stunning Venetian architecture and it is a strictly protected with no cars allowed.

The house is located about 10 minutes from the main port. It offers a small garden with a lemon tree and an orange tree, jasmine and boucambylliae. The house has been tastefully restored in 2004 and has been featured in many house& decoration magazines.

The house has four large bedrooms, all of them with en-suite bathrooms. Other features include a large living room, a modern kitchen and two verandas. Verandas offer glorious views to the sea and the small port of Kamini.

Actually Hydra is a part of the Saronic Gulf islands, which are adjacent to the Peloponnesos, a beautiful and wild mainland which can be easily explored by taking a direct taxi boat from Hydra to the port of Metohi on the mainland. Alternatively, one can explore the region of Peloponnesos and arrive to the port of Metohi by car, and from there take a taxi boat to arrive to Hydra.
