The dining area opens out through French doors onto the stunning terrace where you will undoubtedly spend most evenings watching the sun go down over the orchard and fields which back onto the garden.
The house boasts three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs and has an en suite with a bath and shower. The two upstairs bedrooms each contain one double bed and one single and each has its own en suite shower.
There are separate toilet facilities both upstairs and downstairs.
There is a large basement housing a washing machine and plenty of inflatables for the pool but importantly also provides plenty of storage space for roof-boxes etc.
Further details outdoors:
The gardens are large and are dominated by the swimming pool which is appropriately security fenced for the protection of youngsters. The pool measures 9m x 4.5m and is surrounded by a tiled terrace which has the sun all day long. One corner of the pool rests beneath a large tree to give the much needed shade when you've had too much of the sun!
The terrace at the back of the house overlooks the pool, but also has some fantastically relaxing and serene views. The brick barbecue can make cooking outside very pleasurable whilst your companions drink a bottle of wine (or two) on the terrace seating.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The Dordogne is a very green and lush area of France with literally hundreds of Chateaux and many more things to do and see, from visiting the beautiful towns of La Roque Gageac and Domme which nestle alongside it, to canoeing down it (or taking the local boats - the Gabarres - for those less energetic). The gardens at Marqueyssac offer fantastic views and the candlelit evenings there are very picturesque.
The Sarlat / Marcillac-St-Quentin area
Sarlat is a beautiful medieval town quite famous for its beautiful surroundings, numerous restaurants and, in the peak season, its bustling street entertainment. The food is fantastic, based around the local delicacies of duck, foie gras and truffles and mainly accompanied with the towns very own Sarladaise potatoes - mmmm!
The house is very rural but only a short drive from the town but is also close to numerous other activities including quad biking and go karting, a man made bathing lake, ten pin bowling.

Suzanne gave advice and helped plan how to travel to the house. The location is stunning with plenty to do. We have three small children and there are activities such as bowling canoeing, swimming in lakes, french markets to visit, site seeing, or our children's favourite activity - playing in the beautiful warm salt pool! The holiday suited us all.
The house is very clean and spacious, with all the equipment you need or want to make the perfect holiday. Restaurants are nearby in Sarlat or simply fresh local produce cooked on the barbecue and eaten over looking the most beautiful views. The weather was fabulous (although very hot at night) and we were very sad to come home. The house feels like a home, location is brilliant and Suzanne could not be more helpful! All in all a brilliant holiday. Thank you!
