This property offers everything for the adventurous couple or family as well as a peaceful setting for those that want to simply relax by their own private pool and enjoy the weather. There is a magnificent tower with a 360 degree view of the area as well as dining terraces with fully equipped barbecue. Washing machine and dishwasher as well as satellite TV and broadband WIFI are additions that make this an easy property to holiday in for long or short breaks.
During the high seasons, total privacy is assured as the owners do not live on site. In the off seasons, special rates can be negotiated for smaller groups or couples, as the owners will be on site. For example, the entire ground floor including the master bedroom is available from 650 Eu per week for 2 people, and with 200 Eu per room thereafter. However, privacy is still assured as you will have the whole kitchen/lounge/living area to yourselves, as you would be the only group there. Please look at the published rates, (prices are shown starting at one bedroom) with a surcharge of 200 Euros for each extra bedroom ( though Easter price is for a minimum of 4). Priority though, will be given to bookings for the whole house, rather than for smaller parties. Please contact us if you need further further information.

Sarlat throughout the summer has an extensive programme of music, arts, night markets, fairs and activities for all ages. The town also has a wonderful food market each Wednesday and Saturday whilst Le Bugue offers an organic market on Tuesday and St Cyprien on Sunday. Hot air ballooning, canoeing on the Dordogne, cycling, hiking and hundreds of chateaux and caves to explore .
The Sarlat / St Andre D'Allas area
St Andre D'Allas is a peaceful traditional Perigourdine village with the local bakery a 10 minute walk away. They have the best croissants in the area (if you're into that sort of thing). Their bread is also great.

You can fly Ryan Air or Fly Be to Bergerac and then it is a one hour car drive. 10mns from Sarlat. Coming from the Motorway from the ferries near Paris it is off the motorway at Souillac then through Sarlat total 7 hours approx. Eurostar to Paris and then train to Souillac and bus to Sarlat then taxi.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of renting this beautiful property in May, 2010. The listing description is accurate regarding the location, accommodations and amenities. We also had the unexpected treat of being asked to join the owners and their friends on Sunday walks through the beautiful French countryside. The petite chateau is the perfect size for one to four couples or a family reunion, and it's location to the wonderful market town of Sarlat, great restaurants, the river and endless sightseeing opportunites makes it the perfect choice for all ages |
