*Le Logis is one of 6 holiday cottages in the heart of the secluded and peaceful French countryside yet only a 10 min drive to all facilities. The main Dordogne tourist attractions are all within an hour's drive and many even less than 30 mins. Rocamadour, the medieval town of Sarlat and the famous Lascaux caves are all within easy reach.
* Fully refurbished for Summer 2007,Le Logis has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom all on ground level. The private terrace looks out onto the large 16m x 6m salt water pool with the backdrop of the green oak covered hills.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
The Perigord Noir is the heart of French gastronomy and the specialities of foies gras, duck, walnuts & cepes (penny bun mushrooms!) are to be found in abundance.
There are several local producers as well as plenty of good restaurants and so no shortage of places to sample these culinary pleasures. We'll be more than happy to direct you to our favourites!
Why not soak up the atmosphere with a visit to the local market? Each town has its own market day so you'll be spoiled for choice!
Sarlat / Salignac-Eyvigues area
Jayac is in the heart of the farming community and offers local produce , especially foie gras. There are also plenty of walking trails. Salignac has all the daily facilities you need and also boasts the famous Jardins d'Eyrignac. Don't miss the annual Fete Du Pain ( local tradesmens fair) held every July/August

Fly to Bergerac with Ryanair.com or Flybe.com - 1 hour 20 mins to Jayac New airport at Chatrier-Ferriere due to open 2008 ( 22mins from Les Crouquets!!)
