We like to spend time with our children on holiday and not send them off to holiday clubs etc. This was perfect for us as there was so much to do together at La Grange and in the area. Our boys age 12 and 9 loved the pool, we could barely get them out of it. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness was perfect in side and the pool was spotless. The owners obviously take great pride in their business and speak English.
La Grange is tranquil but within a short drive of Sarlat and the Dordogne. We had a lovely day canoeing and swimming in the river a lovely day for old and young.
We would stay in this property again and would certainly recommend it to others.
Great relaxing holiday!

The accomadation was great, clean and all the equipment that was needed in the kitchen. Beautiful views from the terrace and pool, very peacefull.
La Tour was a great place to be for all the main tourist sites across the Dordogne. Sarlat was great for eating out, lots of quaint little shops and good atmosphere in the evening with the street entertainers.
The cottages are a good place for children, ours (7 and 10) loved the pool and large garden with swings and big trampoline.
We would definetly recommend La Ferme de la Tour to friends and family.

This was our first time in this part of France. We stayed in La Grange for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time. The cottage is immaculate, it has everything that you need and the views are spectacular. It was lovely to be able to cool down in the pool after a hard day lazing in the sunshine.
There are lots of interesting places to visit that are only a short car ride away. Sarlat is beautiful and has a great market. We would recommend the candlelit evening at Marqueyssac gardens (Thursday evenings). Canoeing along the Dordogne near Beynac is also great fun.
Chris and Kate are very friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to help. We tried out a few of their restaurant recommendations and they were all winners! Chris also provided some local walks around the cottage area. It is a truly peaceful and tranquil spot and we are looking forward to returning next year.
We would not hesitate to recommend La Ferme De La Tour to any other holdiaymakers.
Hard to beat!

Excellent, thoughtfull hosts. Happy to be engaged and happy to leave you to your own devices.
Great location. Minutes from Sarlat, but very private and secluded. Very nice view over the valley.
Very clean accoms and well appointed. Good value for money.
Parking is not great, but certainly shouldn't deter you from a teriffic place to stay, and an amazing area to explore.

Lovely, clean cottage in wonderful surroundings. Lots of nice features in the house, well-equipped, good shower etc. Wonderfully restored barn/ farm building.
The split level living area downstairs was a challenge with our 18month old daughter, but the owner supplied stairgates and other child stuff which was great. The grounds were fabulous, cows visited us almost up to the door! Pool was a little 'fresh' due to the bad weather we had, but a great size and nice and clean.
A wonderful location for visiting Sarlat and the Dordogne. The village is about 2km away, with a bar and restaurant, but we didn't walk there as the return was up a long hill (with buggy) and weather not great.
Friendly, helpful owners. Would definitely recommend it, and would definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

My husband and I had a lovely time at this holiday home. They are set up ideally with lots of privacy. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get...lovely furnished rooms, tranquilty, superb views. Chris and Kate are there to help so you truly enjoy for a short time their beautiful location. The location is great for rest at the end of a busy day because there is lots to see very close by. The location would appeal to any age and I would love to go to visit again.

It was our first visit to the Dordogne and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the area, the local old Town of Sarlat and the good quality roads with hardly any traffic on them. As for the Gites, I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone as they were clean, comfortable and well restored. Situated in a beautiful, hilly & secluded part of the countryside that guarantees peace and breath-taking views. My wife and I along with our 2 young kids had a great time. Our hosts were exceptional and we are seriously considering returning there next year.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle then these gites are the perfect location. Chris and his wife are very knowledgeable on the area and can help with planning your sightseeing. The views are stunning and to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and enjoy the tranquility is just wonderful. There are lots of lovely walks and the only sounds you will hear are birdsong and the occasional tractor going past. A 15 minute drive takes you into the beautiful town of Sarlat and there are dozens of chateaux and castles in the surrounding area. The gites are clean and well furnished and a lovely place to come back to after a day sightseeing.

We chose wisely for our very first stay in a Gite. Modern amenities and plenty of room to relax in, this was the perfect place to reinvigorate a pair of weary travellers.
Close to Sarlat and surrounded by magnificent scenery of southern France La Ferme de La Tour offers a quaint exterior with many modern interior features. The large swimming pool offers a guarantee to cool off after a busy day of sightseeing. The birdsong is wonderful and only the distant noises of a busy farmer make it a wonderful rural France experience.
Chris and Kate made us very welcome and took the time to explain the accommodation features and all the area has to offer. It felt like we were visiting friends, with plenty of time to be on our own. Resident owners give the confidence that if a problem arises then a solution is close at hand.
Thoroughly enjoyable! Highly Recommended!

La Grange was delightfully situated in beautiful countryside, ideal for walking but close enough to Sarlat and many more of the best locations in the Dordgone. The cottage itself had been superbly restored, retaining a lot of the old features and was well furnished and clean. It had lovely views from the terrace over the pool and beyond to the surrounding countryside, perfect for a relaxing evening with the barbecue and a bottle of wine. It offered everything for the best of holidays and the resident owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We loved it, would highly recommend and hopefully will be back.
