We spent a wonderful week here with our two daughters at the end of August. The location is idyllic - top of a hill with stunning views.
The property was spotlessly clean and beautifully done up but also very practical and easy to maintain. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary implements for holiday cooking which isn't always the case in rental properties. Chris and Kate also provided all the necessary equipment for our toddler - including cot and bedding, booster seat, plastic plate and cutlery and made a stairgate to stop her falling down from kitchen to livingroom. The cot just fitted in the second bedroom at the end of the bunkbed.
The swimming pool - beautifully clean - is well fenced off and alarmed to prevent small people wondering in.
The guest file is full of useful information such as how to get to the local supermarkets as well a lovely short walks up the hill and Kate and Chris are full of helpful advice.
The vicinity of Sarlat and the Dordogne River with canoeing and castles as well as the Vezere Valley and prehistoric caves - not to mention great places to eat - makes it a fabulous holiday destination.
Would definitely recommend it.

The cottage, the area, everything about this holiday was fantastic.
The accommodation was excellent. Everything was spotless when we arrived and unlike other self catering accommodation I have stayed in the facilities were excellent for cooking.
The outdoor area was awesome, the swimming pool was kept very clean and was the perfect temperature. The gardens and games provided were really good fun. This property is very child friendly. My son had the best time.
We had great fun exploring the area and would defiently return to both the area and accommodation.
The instructions on how to get to the property were very clear.
There is nothing I would change.
Beautifully located

A comfortable and restful place to stay in a beautiful part of France. The views from the property are breathtaking. Chris and Kate the owners are welcoming and helpful, without being intrusive, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the facilities. There's a wealth of sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area to keep you busy, and the swimming pool is the ideal place to cool off after a fun-filled day out. Definitely recommended. A true life enhancer.

La Ferme de La Tour is an excellent base from which to visit the surrounding area of the beautiful Dordogne. It has been beautifully restored and has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. La Petite Grange itself was veryclean, comfortable and well appointed. Chris and Kate were extremely helpful and made themselves available without ever being obtrusive. They recommended some excellent restaurants in the surrounding area! We had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend this property.

If these are what you are looking for then look no further! La Petite Grange is beautifully furnished and equipped, the views from the terrace are breathtaking, the countryside is peaceful with a variety of activities on site and plenty of gentle walks for you to discover. The location is perfect for getting away from it all and visiting the many, many historic attractions of the area. If it's activity you want then there's much to offer on this front too. Chris and Kate are the perfect hosts, know the area well and are always on hand to offer advice on request. We had such a wonderful time that we're back this year....and probably into the future.

We spent a wonderful week in La Petite Grange with our 1 year old daughter and it was wonderful. Very restful and our daughter was made to feel very welcome with essential items provided for her. The gite was very well maintained with wonderful views whilst the garden, pool and pets provided an extra dimension to the holiday. We would definitely recommend these cottages.
