The spacious house and grounds of this charming old property provide a haven of peace and tranquility after a busy day exploring Sarlat or visiting the countless nearby attractions. There are numerous sitting areas on the terraces or in the gardens to read a book, plan the next day's outings, sunbathe, sip a coffee or cold drink, or simply lay back and relax in the shade of a majestic old tree. Indoors, the chic guest lounge provides a warm and welcoming environment.
Each of the 5 spacious guest suites has been individually decorated and delightfully furnished with guest comfort and privacy in mind. Each has their own stylish ensuite bathroom, sitting area, desk, television, hairdryer, internet access, and complimentary carafe of local wine. All have heating for the winter months or odd chilly evening.
A delicious breakfast is served each day using fresh local produce and there are many nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner. For guests who prefer to 'eat-in', there is a large gas BBQ and the café/kitchen is equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery plus fridge, microwave oven, hot plate and dishwasher so you can prepare your own picnic or light meal. The Perigord Noir is famous for its food and wines, so shopping at the local markets and shops can be a memorable and pleasurable part or your holiday.

All are furnished with outdoor table and chair settings and lounges where guests can relax in either sun or shade, enjoy a drink, have a picnic or BBQ.

It is at the very heart of this fabulous region of France and the perfect location to explore its amazing chateauxs, prehistoric caves and art, sculptured gardens and beautiful villages. Visit the local markets, watch the street performers or step back in history as you roam the gas lit streets of the amazing medieval city.
Nearby are the spectacular castles of Beynac, Castelnaud and Puy Martin; the cave dwellings in Les Eyzies and Roque Gageac; and the world famous Lascaux Caves.
The majestic Dordogne river runs through the area and provides locals and visitors alike with beaches, canoeing and other water sports. From golf courses and hot air ballooning to historic monuments and museums - the list is endless.
