The apartment is located in a peaceful environment, close to the medieval historical centre of Sarlat and all amenities. It is situated on the ground floor of the owner's contemporary house in a large 2 000 sq. meters, next to a swimming pool (9 by 4.5m) The apartment has a private access and its own large and shady terrace.

La Queyrie has one bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. One sofa bed is also provided, making the property ideal for families. Recently refurbished, the apartment is bright and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped .

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

Sarlat is a very good starting point to visit the Dordogne region. IIf you like to visit prehistoric caves, you will not have time to visit them all, but don't miss the famous Lascaux cave for its prehistorical paintings, along with Proumeyssac, Rouffignac, Font de Gaume...

If you are more interested in historic castles and fortified villages, you should not miss Beynac, Castelnaud, Byron, Montpazier....

If you just want to see magnificent villages, stunning landscapes and wonderful gardens, this is the right place. The Dordogne is well known for hosting the most beautiful villages of France.

For activities, you have the choice of canoeing on the Dordogne or Vezere rivers that will enable you to see castles, villages and amazing landscapes. It will also be the opportunity to stop on a beach for a swim or a picnic. Cycling, hiking are also very popular. You can play tennis in sarlat and within a few kilometers, play golf, go horse riding or even try hot air balooning. Children will love the theme parcs (tree climbing, aquaparcs, prehistorical villages...)

Sarlat area

Sarlat is probably the most beautiful medieval town in France and certainly the most visited one. It boasts spectacular medieval and renaissance architecture. A full day is necessary to visit all the monuments, to admire the magnificent houses built in the typical "golden stones" of the region, and to stroll through the labyrinth of alleys. It is a real journey into the past.

Sarlat is also interesting for all its cultural activities, a theatre festival in July, movie festival in November and many street exhibitions every night during the summer.

You can try the local regional cuisine in one of the many restaurants in the old town, stop for a drink on a terrace, or enjoy music in the renowned English pub, and do not forget to buy some local products at one of the most typical and colourful markets in France, held every Wednesday and Saturday.

f you don't feel driving, both Ryan Air and Flybe offer daily flights to Bergerac from all major cities in the UK, and there is a train connection from Bergerac to Sarlat (1 hour).

The train station is within walking distance (2 minutes). We can also arrange to pick you up in Bergerac. Car rentals are widely available in both Sarlat and Bergerac. Your hosts are also available to help you with any queries.

The recently refurbished apartment is bright and colourful. The modern furniture and equipment will offer you all the comfort you need for your holiday.

The spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen lead directly onto the terrace. A sofa bed is available for an extra person if needed. The bedroom comprises a double bed, a bunk bed and a wardrobe. A bathroom is equipped with a body jets shower, toilet and a washbasin.

The spacious garden and the swimming pool you will share with the owners are a wonderful place to relax after a busy day.

The terrace is equipped with teak furniture, table and chairs, ideal for a meal or a drink, or just relaxing in a deck chair. A BBQ is available.

The apartment is about 1 km from the historical centre of Sarlat. It is close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and banks.
