The world famous Siesta Key Public Beach is across the street within a 5 minute walking distance. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit can house 5 guests. It is light with tropical colors which create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. You'll feel like you're staying in your second home, with complete linens and a fully equipped kitchen – stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and tons of other items so you can prepare your favorite meals and dine in. (Of course, with all the great restaurants close at hand, you'll probably want a few “out” meals, too!)

The living and dining areas are roomy and comfortable, the perfect kind of place to sit back after a day at Siesta Key Beach or our refreshing pool, and read or watch TV or a movie.

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and TV. This unit also has a master bath in addition to a bathroom off the hall. The guest bedroom has 2 double beds and TV. There are ample closets in all bedrooms, and the bathrooms are large, clean and modern.

The screen lanai is spacious, with table and chairs, to enjoy the tropical breezes. We provide local phone service, basic color cable, and either a DVD or VCR player. Also supplied is a covered ironing board and iron. Each unit has been thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, but basic cleaning supplies, including a vacuum cleaner, are provided, and a local cleaning service is available for hire.

The clubhouse, adjacent to our swimming pool and office, is the hub of activity. Our pool is heated year-round to a warm 86º, so you can enjoy a swim even during the cooler months. You can also relax in his and hers saunas, catch a bit of sun on a lounge chair, or sit in the shade and enjoy a bit of vacation reading.

Looking for a new read? Check something out of our lending library, where you can select a book or magazine, puzzle or movie for your entertainment. In fact, you can settle down in a comfy chair or sofa and read awhile. Or invite friends to join you for a game at the clubhouse cardtables. TV and music are also available in the clubhouse, which is open during business hours and can be reserved for after-hours parties or activities.

The social committee puts on many events and celebrations, held at the clubhouse or at a nearby church hall. They'll let you know what's coming up by posting notices on our bulletin boards. The committee makes good use of the clubhouse kitchen facilities for their welcoming parties, holiday get-togethers, and other fun events.

A new gas grill, located next to the pool and a few covered picnic tables, is available for your use. It's in a lighted area, in case you're still cooking when the sun goes down.

Laundry facilities are available at four locations, and mail is delivered to mailbox banks.

Siesta Village and Siesta South Village offer shopping and dining on the key, and just about every sort of shopping, cultural, sports and recreational activity is readily available in Our Area.

The first sign that you've come to the right place is the grounds, seven acres beautifully landscaped with palm trees, live oaks, flowering shrubs and tropical flowers. There's birdwatching near the dock or at birdfeeders sprinkled around the grounds, and you can watch for dolphins and manatees in the canal, connected to Little Sarasota Bay.

Across the street and down a little path will bring you to the vast expanse of Siesta Beach, one of the world's most beautiful beaches (with plenty of awards to show for itself!). There you'll find a playground, tennis and volleyball courts, shaded picnic areas, snack bars…and miles of soft, pure white quartz sand.

This rental is close to shopping, water sports, golfing, arts and theater…just about any type of fun or entertainment you'd like to enjoy.

Whether you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime Florida vacation, a mid-winter break, or a place to call a second home, we will cheer you up with a welcome-home attitude, and you can relax right into a lovely time enjoying our tropical island paradise.

The Florida region

Siesta Key is an eight-mile-long tropical island just offshore of Sarasota, Florida, joined to mainland by two bridges. It is a popular resort that has retained its natural beauty. Nestled between Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico, Siesta Key is everything one could imagine paradise to be and is the perfect year-round island destination.

The beaches of Siesta Key are world-renowned. The pure quartz, pulverized to a fine white powder, has a magical quality. There is no sand quite like Siesta's anywhere. They are also the island's centres of social activity - places to meet, to hold reunions, group picnics, even weddings - or just to stroll, bicycle or jog with friends.

Sarasota

Siesta Key, Florida, is not part of the Florida Keys! It's unique. As a matter of fact, it’s located near Sarasota on the western side of the state, and is actually considered a barrier island. The area has three beaches that are all on the Gulf of Mexico, and if you are looking for a place to go that’s away from the hustle and bustle of the typical Florida tourist traps, then Siesta Key is for you.

Siesta Key prides itself on an eclectic lifestyle. A haven for artists, musicians and writers as well as outdoor sports enthusiasts. Enjoy the many outdoor activities, such as fishing, bicycling, boating, kayaking, rollerblading, snorkeling, scuba diving, shelling, sailboarding or even parasailing! If golf or tennis is your game, take advantage of one of the many facilities we have to offer. Or if you prefer to add a dash of culture to your stay, just beyond the Siesta Key shore is an abundance of arts and culture! Theatre, galleries, ballet, opera, symphonies, museums and more.

For the people who enjoy the nightlife, you are going to want to check out Gilligan’s Tropical Bar located in the Village. This bar has a great atmosphere where beach attire is acceptable at the minimum and collared shirts and shorts for the men at the maximum. It has a great Tiki atmosphere and if you happen to be staying in the Village, you’ll never have to worry about getting a ticket for driving drunk. Enjoy a Pina Colada while sitting at this outside bar and soaking up the warm night air.

The location is also 1 hours drive to Tampa, FL which has many attractions including the Salvador Dali Museum, professional baseball and football, Busch Gardens Theme Park, and many more.

DisneyWorld Orlando is only a 1.5 hours drive.
