About the home

This upmarket spacious villa is located on an award winning landscaped tropical village setting, and is the ideal location to have a superb holiday, whether you wish to wind down after Disney or use it as a base for exploring the Gulf Coast area of Florida. There is everything you need on site and its surrounding area facilities.

There are two bedrooms, the master having a large queen bed, walk in wardrobe/dressing area, ensuite bathroom and remote tv. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds with built in robes. There is also a family bathroom. Attached to the sitting room is a screened Lanai/sun room so you can sit outside and watch the sunrise or set, and the world go by.

There are also 2 single foldaway twin beds available that can be made up to accomodate 2 more guests if required. Max 6 persons/villa. Crib and high chair available.

The kitchen is upgraded with all usual appliances and also a washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher.

The living room furniture and floor coverings are new, and the high vaulted ceilings and 1350sq ft of living space makes it feel very roomy and relaxing. It has a large flat screen cable tv, dvd player and ipod dock.

Free Hi Speed WiFi Internet access and local telephone calls. Free Answering machine.

Fully air conditioned. Central atrium to allow natural light in the living area.

New bedroom carpets have been layed recently, along with repainting throughout internally, and new sun room/lanai furniture. Ceiling fans throughout.

There are three eating areas (lanai, breakfast and formal). There is a large integral garage with electric door for ease of use. Parking for a second car if required outside the villa.

The villa is located in quiet cul de sacs. The location is great for kids and they can play safely at the large heated pool/jacuzzi or tennis courts and other activities on site. Barbaque/picnic area overlooking the lake and feature fountain. Everything is on one level, so its easy to get about.

We want you to feel this is your Home from Home. Peaceful, safe, and relaxing location and just minutes from shopping/beaches/bars/restaurants/golf and a host of activities to suit all tastes. Sarasota is brimming with culture and the arts.

We think this is the best value villa on the gulf coast. As we are private owner/renters, our prices are often much lower than 'managed villas'. We also have a local agent to take care of minor problems and requests etc.

We can now offer a Disney/Gulf Coast combination option if required!

Making the most of the theme parks, it’s all about timing
Besides seasonal considerations, certain days of the week are slower at the theme parks, usually Tuesday through Thursday. Arrive early to avoid crowds – timing your arrival can set the mood for the whole day.

Strategy-planning begins before you enter the gate. Study Web sites and maps to plot your priorities. Pre-purchase tickets if possible (multiple-day passes and Orlando Flex Tickets save time and money). Keep in mind that weather, crowds, ride availability and other factors can affect your plan, so be flexible. Do the most popular rides early in the morning, moving to the back of the park first. Use peak times in the early afternoon for eating, shopping and shows. Recharged, you’ll step out into the park ready for more thrilling fun. Ride lines often slack off toward late afternoon, so save the big attractions you missed in the morning for later.

Disney parks issue a FASTPASS outside some of the best rides (available to all guests at no extra charge). FASTPASS tickets set an appointed time for you to return to an attraction via special, shorter lines. Universal’s similar program is Universal Express (available at an additional charge; or free to guests at Universal Resort properties). Universal Express allows you to take the “express” line to some of the most popular rides, and does not require that you come at an appointed time.

If you’re willing to split up your group, opt for quicker Single Rider lines. Afterward, comparing the thrills of the ride with your family and friends is almost as much fun as the ride itself.

""Renting this condo will meet all of your expectations and more." Upon first entering Village des Pins three years ago my wife said that I said wow. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with Florida vegetation and very well maintained. There are also ponds which are home to numerous birds such as egrets and cranes. Your breath is literally taken away. There are two tennis courts, a small putting green and a large swimming pool which serves as a meeting place for the owners and guests. Everyone is very welcoming and you soon make friendships. Sarasota is a most attractive city filled with many things to do. We enjoy the many live theatres where the entertainment is good as it gets anywhere. There are, for example, a symphony, an opera and a ballet and theatres with all types of plays. There are also many fine restaurants with moderate to very pricey menus. The seafood can't be beat. The villa, at the southern end of Sarasota, is a short drive from Siesta Key beach which is considered to be the best beach in the United States. It has miles of white sand and lifeguards for those who want to swim. The villa has beach chairs and an umbrella foe those who like to relax on the beach. The villa itself is spacious and well maintained. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty meals. A washer and dryer are included. The villa is also very private. It is constructed so that you see little of your neighbours condos and really only meet them at the pool or if they are walking the grounds, which many do. There ar several options for anyone wishing to shop. Westfield Mall, with a Macys, is ony two minutes away. An outlet mall is located at Ellenton, about thirty minutes up the I 75. "Hi Eddie & Wendy, Review Rating : 5/5 Review Title : 1204355 - "Comfortable villa in an excellent location" "This villa is perfect for a family holiday to the gulf coast. It contained all of the equipment needed for a rental of a few weeks. Lounge/dining area was newly furnished, with comfy sofas, a large flat screen TV and wifi Internet connection. Kitchen area was well stocked and beds were comfortable (didn't use the convertibles). The villa also contained tennis equipment, beach towels, lilos and buckets & spades, so no need to fill your suitcases with any of these items. We visited for 10 days in late October, during the UK schools' mid-term break and the Timberwoods estate was quiet, as this is the end of low season The pool area had plenty of new chairs and sun loungers and the pool is a good size for both swimming and mucking around. We used one of the tennis courts and this was well maintained, but the temperature was too hot for tennis. The biggest advantage of this villa, over others that we have rented in the Sarasota area is the location: Crescent Beach on Siesta Key (the best beach on the gulf coast) is 10-15 minutes drive The main shopping mall in Sarasota is 5 minutes walk, so when the boys are playing golf, the girls can shop!! Downtown Sarasota and St Armands Circle is 20-30 minutes drive Junction 205 of the i75 is 10 minutes drive Ellenton outlet mall is 30 minutes drive All of the usual restaurant chains were within 10-15 minutes drive of the villa (Outback, Longhorn, Chilis, Carrabas, Bonefish Grille etc) and there were also some good locally owned restaurants. We'd recommend Turtles on Siesta Key. You could dine at the waterside inside or out. Food was good and at $100 for 4, including drinks and a bottle of wine, prices were reasonable. The location also gave easy access to dozens of excellent golf courses within a 30 minute drive. We played some of the best in the area; University Park, The Venetian, Waterleaf, River Strand, The River Club, Oak Ford, Sarasota National and Serenoa and by booking a couple of days beforehand, on the Internet, only once did we pay over $25 per person per afternoon round, including cart (University Park was $32pp). Oak Ford was $12 for me and my son played for free, so 18 holes of golf for two was cheaper than the my golf glove. I know you won't get these silly deals in high season, but the quality of the courses in the area is second to none in Florida.
