Home description
This holiday home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms have double beds, 1 being en suite and 1 having an east facing balcony. 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds each. There are 3 bathrooms, a comfortable lounge with TV, fireplace and 3 large sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious and there is both indoor and alfresco dining with a barbecue for 10. The house is a 10 minute walk from a large family friendly sandy beach and cafes, restaurents, bars and a daily market. The house is 10 Km from Foz do Arelho with excellent sandy beaches, a large salt water lagoon and more cafes and restaurants. Nazare is also only 12 Km away, another excellent holiday resort with a funicular to the old cliff top town of Sitio. 15 km away is the medieval hill top walled ton of Obidos with lots of small shops and restaurants in its quaint pedestrian streets. A 35 Km drive will take you to the world class golf course of Praia D'el Rey. Lisbon Itself is only just over an hour away by car or express coach and has an almost infinite variety of things to see and do.

Sao Martinho do Porto area
Sao Martinho do Porto is an excellent family resort with sandy beaches and bathing in a large sheltered bay . The seafront has recently been refurbished with a new cycle path and has many cafes, shops and restaurants. There is also a new boardwalk through the sand dunes to the neighbouring resort of Salir do Porto which is the locals favourite fishing spot.
How to get there
The house is located 90 Km from Lisbon Airport. Most of the route is motorway with the house an easy 8 Km from the motorway exit.
