This wonderful apartment is well located in one of the area’s most sought after developments. The gorgeous hillside setting offers impressive views over the both the beautifully formed bay of Sao Martinho and the Atlantic Ocean. Facilities at the complex are extensive and particularly suited to family holidays. A choice of three outdoor swimming pools are available to help you cool off from the radiant Portuguese sunshine. The kids will love the mini golf course and no doubt get a lot of use from the basketball hoops, tennis court and ping pong table. Parents might enjoy the gym and squash courts, or simply relax with a drink at the bar and have a game of pool. Wireless broadband is available free of charge in the communal areas.

The property is spacious, practical, and designed to a superb specification to offer luxurious accommodation over two floors. The extensive lounge leads on to a South-facing balcony with incredible views over the Atlantic. Three bathrooms help to make the property practical for family requirements but the inclusion of 2 jacuzzi baths and a shower cubicle with numerous jets and a steaming facility complement the luxurious nature of the property.

The Sao Martinho do Porto area

The striking, shell shaped bay of Sao Martinho is an impressive, natural formation that provides shelter from the rugged Atlantic waves that are so prized by the local surfing population. The waters here are warm and tranquil and an ideal way to cool off in the pleasant Portuguese sunshine. The restaurants around the Bay serve fantastic seafood, usually freshly caught that day and provide an authentic Portuguese experience for the casual diner. The bars and cafes that line the cobbled streets of the town are charming and friendly, with the locals priding themselves on providing a warm welcome to visitors.

Everything you need to enjoy your sublime holiday is available in Sao Martinho but that needn’t stop you experiencing what the surrounding area has to offer. Within easy reach of the bay are the surfing hot spots of Nazaré and Peniche as well as the medieval towns of Alcobaca and Obidos. Foz do D'Arelho is home to the magnificent Obidos lagoon which is famed for its natural beauty and watersports. Any or all of these destinations make a great day out, but you will want to return to lovely Sao Martinho do Porto.

You can get to Sao Martinho Do Porto from Lisbon by coach and rail (via central Lisbon) or by car or taxi.

Driving time is around 1 hour and there are plenty of hire car companies to choose from. Alternatively we can help you to arrange transfers.
