The Sao Martinho do Porto area
Retaining it's traditional charm and Character, Sao Martinho do Porto is becoming ever more popular as a holiday destination. The bay of Sao Martinho do Porto has naturally developed into a perfect shell-shape that not only looks stunning but also offers safe bathing in calm waters, sheltered from the Atlantic ocean.
Unlike most places along the Atlantic coast, waves gently lap the beach of Sao Martinho do Porto and an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity is afforded upon the town. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants surround the bay allowing visitors the opportunity to relax and enjoy the local cuisine whilst appreciating the most incredible views. Aside from the many facilities and opportunities Sao Martinho offers holidaymakers, its location makes it perfect for those wanting to explore the Silver Coast.
