Home description

A perfect holiday villa for a large group or two families, this villa sleeps 10 comfortably. There are 5 twin bedded rooms and 4 bathrooms(3 en-suite), a huge living/dining room and spacious open plan kitchen, recently re-fitted. A shaded Dining terrace with barbecue overlooks the huge pool with shallow Roman end steps ideal for the kids and a 3m deep end for the more adventurous.

The village of Alportel is 5 minutes walk away and the busy market town of San Bras lies just 3 kilometres down the hill. The beaches are 30 minutes drive away as are numerous famous golf courses. The sleepy town of Faro is 20 minutes drive and Vilamoura also about half an hour away. There are numerous good local restaurants within easy reach.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

The Algarve in Portugal is a popular holiday destination thanks to its warm climate. The coastline is approx. 155 kilometres and stretches for 52 kilometres to the north on the west. At its widest point to the north, it is 36 kilometres deep.

There are many sandy attractive beaches and the sea temperature is often surprisingly warm even in some of the winter months.

Whilst the coastline is well-developed, away from the immediate coastal plain are the foothills, which are left unspoilt and these are a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday whilst having all the coastline activities within 20-30mins drive.

The villa is 20/25 minutes drive from Faro Airport and just 3 kilometres north of San Bras de Alportel.

A multitude of airlines have daily flights from many UK airports to Faro which is just 2 hours 15 minutes flight time
from Gatwick.

Car hire is readily available from depots on the Airport.
