Whilst all recreational activities are within a short drive, this villa offers you a taste of true Portugal rather than the purpose built accommodation that tends to be crammed together by the sea. The villa is situated on a hillside with a magnificent vista of the surrounding hills, circa 10-15 kms from Faro airport and the coast and 5 kms from the closest town Sao Bras. There is a village shop in Corotelo which is perfect for stocking up whilst major supermarkets and shops are in Sao Bras (10 mins) and Loule (15 mins).

The Algarve / East Algarve region
The Algarve in Portugal is a well known holiday destination because of its warm climate. The south-facing coastline is approx. 155 kilometres and stretches about 52 kilometres to the north on the west. At the widest point to the north, it is approximately 36 kilometres deep.
There are about 100 sandy attractive beaches washed by the Atlantic Ocean and due to the maritime shelf and water currents the sea temperature can be often be surprisingly warm even in some of the winter months.
Whilst the coastline is well-developed, away from the immediate coastal plain are the foothills, which are surprisingly unspoilt and a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday whilst retaining all coastline activities within 20-30mins drive.

How to get there
The villa is within 25 mins drive of Faro airport.
Car hire is advised and all major car hire companies operate from the airport, e.g. Hertz, Europcar. The local Portuguese car hire company is Guerin.
