Sao Bras de Alportel is a charming market town renowned for its friendly Portuguese people and its unique cultural traditions. Visit the local market for fresh fish and local fruit and veg & don´t miss out on the locally produced honey. Wander around the little back streets just off the main square or just sip freshly squeezed orange juice and watch the Portuguese people go about their everyday lives!
Try out Frango Luis restaurant, said to be the best Chicken piri piri in the Algarve, or dine out at one of the many local Restaurants. Sao Bras is surrounded by countryside and has some wonderful views down to the sea especially from the old Church in the Town.
Here you are away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts but 15 to 20 minutes car journey and you can be at a beautiful sandy beach or one of the Algarves fantastic Golf courses.

Most Uk airports fly direct to Faro Airport,..... Easyjet fly daily.
Soa Bras de Alportel is about 20 minute drive from the Airport.
Car hire at Faro Airport (Sixt plus most leading hire companies).
